Excellent location, could do with updating
The accomodation is very well located and well equipped. It's a great size for a family and the separate bedroom and bathroom are ideal.
The shower in the main bathroom was almost impossible to use as so small so we all had to use the one downstairs, which is a lovely bathroom.
The cottage had been cleaned, but the sofa and carpet/rugs are very grubby which is a shame as it detracts from an all round good base.

Positives - Central location to Whitby and great base to explore North Yorkshire. Spacious house, well equipped, comfortable beds, and two bathrooms a bonus.Negatives - Parking outside the property is often an issue, the lounge sofas and chair are stained, grubby and disgusting! Overflowing wheelie bins in courtyard, incorrect information on emptying and recycling? Some of the kitchen crockery and cutlery needed rewashing. Some kitchen utensils rusty, old and stained!
