The apartment is very well situated overlooking the marina and close to all the bars and restaurants. It was very clean and immaculate throughout. However, just a word of caution for anyone with mobility issues, there are several steps to lug your case up to get to the property then there is a flight of marble stairs (which bend round) to get to the twin bedroom and bathroom, then a few more to get to the lounge/kitchen area, then a few more to get to the 2 double bedrooms and bathroom. We were told a couple of months before our holiday (when it had been booked for 9 months at that point) that the pool was closed due to refurbishments. Although we were offered a partial refund (which we accepted because there was little chance of us finding alternative accommodation) that money just about covered a day at Puro Beach Club and sunbeds on the beach. We went to look at the pool, which was a couple of minutes’ walk away through a car park and it looked like it hadn’t been touched in a long time - weeds overgrown and the pool itself still had mouldy looking water in it. The path to it also had broken glass and dog faeces on it.The grounds outside the apartment were neglected and untidy with litter and floor tiles outside the entrance to the apartment had lifted and broken significantly to cause a trip hazard.
