About this property

Old Village 2 Bed apartment on two floors plus roof terrace. Vilamoura Algarve

The Old Village is about 25-30 mins by car or taxi from Faro Airport. The complex is completely pedestrianised and family friendly and now has Wi-Fi throughout. The gardens are manicured and the fragrances from the plants at night heighten the experience. 24 hour on-site security adds to that feeling of well being. Our apartment is located only a minute or two's walk from any of the bars, restaurants and pools. Access to the apartment is by external stairs to the first floor. Inside is a lounge/diner, open aspect to the kitchen, and a toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower toilet and sink. On the top floor is a large private roof terrace. Vilamoura has several first class golf courses.The beaches in Vilamoura are sandy clean and picturesque. At the marina 5 mins by car, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Water sports and boat trips can be booked from here. Neighbouring Quarteira has a weekly market, (bartering is essential). Further down by the beach a daily fish market can be found.

Beautiful pretty location 20 minute walk to marina. We used the quiet pool by the Artisan restaurant which was lovely, one draw back be aware of a daily charge to use the sun beds 4 euros per bed per day.

Apartment was ideal, clean, everything that was needed.We stayed there for Xmas and it was really nice,roof terrace is a real bonus,would be an excellent suntrap in summer. Shop two minute walk away and marina just 20 minutes walk.Overall it was a great stay.

This is the second time that my husband and myself have stayed at this lovely apartment in the Old Village and once again, it didn’t disappoint. Nick has been a superb host throughout the booking process. It is clear that he takes great pride in making sure guests have an enjoyable stay. Location is ideal - just a short walk to the local Spar for essentials and also close to the bars, restaurants and pool area. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area and we look forward to our next visit in the near future.

An excellent property in the heart of the Old Village, close to the main square, shop and bars / restaurants. Clean, comfortable and well equipped, with lovely roof terrace. We fell in love with “ The Old Village” & enjoyed having the restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fairly easy walk to vilamoura & back. Wonderful stay in the Old Village

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in the Old Village. The apartment is beautiful, clean, modern and has everything you need for a great break. It is also very spacious. Nick is a great host, very informative and friendly. I cannot find fault in the stay at all and would definitely love to return. The grounds are stunning and are meticulously kept. The location is great and the host provides a folder with really useful information, including great restaurant reviews. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The property is perfectly placed within the old village which has a selection of bars and restaurants. Lovely walk down the marina only 20 mins. The apartment has everything you need and good aircon. Roof terrace and seating is a bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a great time and the apartment was perfect for us. The host allowed us to have a few extra hours on the last day which made such a difference with young children. The only one thing I would say is that I found some of the floors to be a bit sticky in some areas, could have probably been cleaned slightly better but apart from that I was really impressed.Would love to return one day.
