Pleasant Stay in Porto

A clean modern apartment made for a very comfortable 4 days in Porto. Apartment is about 1.5 miles from historic old town. For my husband and I (70 and 75 years old) it was not a problem because we are walkers/hikers and enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to recommend this place Leonardo the owner or manager was very responsive and helpful.

Great base for day trips

Quiet location with free parking on side street. Some construction nearby but not too bothersome. Proximity to train station is ideal. Lots of markets and cafes. Host was EXCELLENT! UBER and BOLT service is also great!

Wonderful apartment. The best we ever had.We experienced a problem with the free parking lot behind the building. It’s difficult to find and the access is small and very dangerous. We blew up a tire on the right curb.

Great stay!

Great spacious apartment just above Porto centre, perfect location, easy to walk everywhere and access to transports. Also easy free street parking in the area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there ago shall we come back to Porto! Thank you!!

We are exploring Portugal. This apartment is beautiful and well appointed. Short walk to the subway and it’s a quick ride to old town. Leo was very helpful with our check in. I would highly recommend staying here as I certainly will if I make it back to Porto. Janice

Convenient

Close to public transportation. Elevator a plus. Clean updated facilities. Close to restaurants and Shopping. We were able to find a Close parking Spot on the street. Currently constrution next door which could have been problemátic of we were there during the weekday working hours. Living room hás limited seating, considering that the unit sleeps 4

Perfect in every way!

Wonderful location, great property. E host thought of everything we would need, greeted us at the apartment, did a personalized tour of the property, and provided a map with directions for grocery stores, restaurants, and things to do/see. Not only was the property fantastic, so was the host! Highly recommended!

The perfect stay to explore Porto

The apartment was a great location. Walking into the centre took about 30 minutes. We often got Ubers which were only about €5. The apartment is very modern and clean. Leo was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

☺️Amazing ☺️

What a beautiful apartment, absolutely spotless. Modern and well equipped very secure. Check-in was seamless, and Leo let us leave our luggage in the apartment block and as soon as our apartment was ready he text us which was before 3. He explained and demonstrated how everything worked which was gave a personal touch. I would definitely recommend anybody to stay in this beautiful apartment.

The place is nice and clean. Parking on street is tough to find nearby, feel unsafe when you have to park faraway. The place has a lot of birds very noisy early in the morning if you want to sleep in a little.

Porto visit 5 days

excellent stay, a little less touristy area was abot a 30 minute walk to the water front; which we did every day. Uber back up the hills. the neighborhood has a lovely little grocery store, coffee shops and a few restaurants. would return.

First time in Portugal

Sandra was great! She was ready and waiting for us. As well as was able to get the room ready early for us. Although it rained for a lot of our trip we finally were able to enjoy wine and charcuterie on the patio. The washer worked great as did the dishwasher and oven. The wifi was never slow either. 🙂 we would definitely stay again.

Clean, spacious and perfect for a family of 4

We had the ground level and the large yard was so spacious for kids to play and to have dinner outside. Bruno met us at check in and was so helpful he took time to show us everything to be comfortable and discuss ideas for activities with kids. His recommendations were great! The place was super clean, very new, and was nice and quiet, we didn’t hear anything at night while we were sleeping. The air conditioner was great to have. Location- It’s a bit father then we hoped but there was enough around to walk to safely or a short Uber away. Overall we were very happy.

Amazing stay!!

Stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect. The place was exactly as described; very clean, very comfortable, and very convenient. The hosts were fantastic and super responsive. They were there in person for our check-in and everything was very smooth. The place had everything we need to prepare meals so we did not need to eat out every meal or day. There is a wonderful bakery right across the street and everything you need is a short walk away (e.g., grocery store). Very accessible to the city center. We walked most days (about 20 minutes to the city center, and 35 minutes to the river area). The Metro was also quite close (about a 10-minute walk from the apartment). As others have mentioned it's a little bit of a climb to get to the place but it wasn't terribly hard. We will definitely stay again the next time in Porto!!! Thanks so so much Bruno and Jerónimo!!!

Great place to stay to explore Porto

The apartment is lovely and clean and very well equipped. If you don’t mind walking, there are many places to explore on foot, but otherwise Ubers are really cheap and come quickly. We also used the metro to get about. Jeronimo was very helpful at every opportunity and also accommodated us when we arrived early. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of storage space. You have a washing machine and an airer to dry clothes on, which is useful. There is also a dishwasher and full size fridge freezer. There are quite a few supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment. We felt very safe walking around. There are a few homeless people, but none that bothered us in any way. You can hear other people in their apartments, but it wasn’t anything troublesome. I would highly recommend staying here.

Loved Porto

This location was right for us. It was brand new, had all the amenities and very clean. There is a grocery store, bakery, charcuterie and a restaurant within 5 minute walking distance. Just around the corner was the restaurant Manuel Alves, excellent food, service and price. The apartment is in top of the hill, so if you do not enjoy walking then maybe this location is not for you. We walked every day down to to the tourist area and the Douro river, about a 20 minute walk. While walking you are able to discover some cool places and excellent restaurant. Pastel de Nata’s everywhere. The only negative comment I have, the apartment is not as insulated as our home in Canada so the noise outside can seem quite noisy during the day. The nights were very quiet. The host responds very quickly to any inquiries or request. I highly suggest this location when in Porto. 👍🙂
