The exceptional Penthouse 'Big Garibaldi' is located near the Lido of Alghero, in a building facing the sea overlooking the beach of San Giovanni, known for its white sand and blue sea.
The building, with lift and private parking, offers an apartment for a comfortable holiday on the splendid beaches of one of the most beautiful cities in Sardinia.
From the 'Big Garibaldi' attic it is possible to admire a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Alghero and Capo Caccia, making it a unique location in the city.
Its central location allows you to reach the historic center in a few minutes on foot on the new 'Bousquet Walk'. The beach is in front of the house, just across the street. Supermarket and restaurants / pizzerias in the immediate vicinity, the car is not essential.

The apartment, recently renovated and furnished with value, consists of 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with bunk bed, living room with SMART TV SAT, FREE INTERNET WI-FI, 1 three-seater sofa, 2 bathrooms with shower, modern kitchen and terrace equipped with table, chairs and deck chairs overlooking the bay of Alghero.

The modern and perfectly equipped kitchenette has a fridge, oven, 4 hotplates, microwave, new pots and cutlery, toaster, kettle, coffee maker.

The apartment has a private parking space in the covered garage.

The apartment was just excellent. Mary the manager was a ray of sunshine, so pleasant and helpful for us, from the check in to helping us make dinner reservations at the best restaurant. We loved Alghero and the apartment, very comfortable and the best view one could imagine

Lovely property, amazing views. Balcony was great although be aware that as you are staying right in the middle of everything there is quite a lot of road and bar noise when you are outside. Great double glazing so not an issue inside.

Beautiful property, view and location.

It was a beautiful, very clean home with a spectacular view in a great location. The hostess was delightful and gave us good restaurant suggestions. It should be noted in the listing that a 200 euro CASH deposit is required at check in. Same for 10 euro CASH per day for parking. The following would have been nice to have: wastebaskets in bathrooms, one roll of kitchen paper towels, several beach towels/mats.

The property has a balcony with impeccable views of the ocean and surrounding town. We sat outside every morning and evening to relax. The sunsets are breath taking. The apartment was clean and had air conditioning that we used at night. Federica the manager was wonderful and suggested great places to eat. She was helpful and was there when we arrived. I recommend this place so much !!

Perfect location!

We enjoyed one week in the apartment and coming back once again this summer! The private parking, the short distance to restaurants, beaches and supermarkets made the stay perfect for us! Our children (6 and 8 years old) could easily take a walk to the beaches and the restaurants and they loved to have an ice-cream bar in the next building... ;-) The owner was very serviceminded - for example we got a new washing machine very fast when the machine got broken. We really look forward to return to the appartment this July!

Fantastic location

Very nice and clean appartment with great location near the harbor, old town and the nice beaches. The appartment has a very large terras were one can enjoy dinner or something to drink and enjoy the fantastic view. Easy to use the public transportation. The old town have a number of really good resturants to choose from. One improvment I think of would be infomation on the location of where the garbage to be thrown. Best regards, Toni

Great summer break

First of all let me just address the 'elephant in the room' this is not a 'Penthouse' as it has been described, as there is an apartment above it. That said it is nicely fitted out & furnished, the kitchenette is small so if you come on holiday to cook meals for your family you would perhaps struggle & the addition of a kettle would have been welcome (we Brits love our tea whatever the weather!). Just 2 mins walk from a decent sized supermarket we got everything we needed without having to resort to using the car. Plenty of restaurants nearby, fairly mixed quality but our evening at Enhorabona was unsurpassed for food quality. The beach opposite is reasonable & convenient but it is fair to say there are much better ones just a short drive away. Overall we were very happy in the property.

Der Check-in verlief problemlos mit nettem Empfang - der Parkplatz wurde uns im vorhinein reserviert. Am Balkon ist es grundsätzlich etwas laut durch den Verkehr, das stört aber nur bedingt - die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Die Zimmern und Ausstattung sind top - absolute Empfehlung!

Belle appartement mais attention au propriétaire pas gentil

Je vais être honnête, l’appartement est beau, bonne localisation, belle vue . Confortable même si certain équipement sont un peu bas de gamme comme par exemple un grille pain et une cafetière en plastique, on dirait des jouets pour enfants . Vaisselle très limitée. Parking un peu difficile d’accès . Mais le problème a été le propriétaire, il a dû intervenir pendant notre séjour car suite à une panne de courant l’air conditionné avait été déréglé. Ce n’est pas notre faute ni la sienne mais lorsque il est venu il a été très antipathique. Très froid. Bref j’ai rien dit . Le problème a été qu’il n’a pas voulu nous remettre notre garantie de 200€ pr plusieurs raison . -nous n’avions pas éteinds l’air conditionné avant de quitter le logement. Nous avions juste oublié dans une des chambres ! -Il nous a envoyé une photo des poubelles extérieur pas à l’intérieur de l’appartement en prétextant que nous n’avions pas respecté le tri des déchets alors ces poubelles n’étaient même pas à nous!! Nous avions tout vidé et bien trier avant de partir ! -Il nous a reproché d’avoir utilisé la troisième chambre (nous étions un couple et un enfant ) Excusez-moi mais j’ai payée 1600€ pour 6 nuits j’ai payé pr tt l’appartement pas juste pour 2 chambres , je n’ai jamais vu ça de ma vie !! - et le pire c’est qu’il nous a reproché d’avoir laisser la vaisselle (propre) sur l’évier. Alors que j’ai payé des frais de ménage !! Bref , je dis tt ça pour prévenir les gens. Honte à lui !!

Erste Reihe mit Urlaubsweitblick

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit toller sehr großer Terrasse die förmlich zum weitblicken einlädt. Einzig der doch sehr laute Straßenlärm trübt dieses Vergnügen. Zum Prädikat Luxus fehlt eventuell ein Geschirrspüler Kaffeemaschine. Top war die sehr gute Kommunikation mit Mary von der Rezeption. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Startplatz für diverse Unternehmungen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage - aber sehr laut

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön: groß, gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet, sauber, die Terrasse ist groß und mit tollem Ausblick. Die Lage: Strand gegenüber, kurze Wege zu Supermärkten, Geldautomaten, Pizzerien und mehreren Strandbars, die Altstadt kann man zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten über die Strandpromenade erreichen. Dafür würde ich tatsächlich gerne 5 Sterne vergeben haben. Allerdings liegt direkt unter der Terrasse ein vielbefahrener Kreisverkehr. Wenn ein Motorrad über den Kreisverkehr fährt - vorher lautstark herunterschaltet, im Kreisverkehr ordentlich Gas gibt, nach dem Kreisverkehr mit Vollgas wieder auf Geschwindigkeit kommt - ist es nicht möglich das eigene Gespräch fortzuführen. Wir haben im Vorfeld die Bewertungen gelesen, nur sehr wenige gehen auf den Verkehrslärm ein. Wir dachten, es würde schon nicht so schlimm sein, aber es ist viel lauter als befürchtet. Auch in der Vorsaison, auch in der Nacht, auch in den hinteren Zimmern, wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte. Für den andauernden Verkehrslärm: Ein Stern Abzug. Der zweite Stern Abzug: Kurz vor Anreise - Stornierung/ Umbuchung war nur noch mit Verlust des gesamten Mietpreises möglich - informiert uns der Vermieter, Bauarbeiten seien im Gang - mit einem seitlichen Gerüst, keine Beeinträchtigung für den Ausblick von der Terrasse. Die seitliche Aussicht auf Alghero und den Hafen war nur durch das Baugerüst möglich, das direkt neben der Terrasse mit Brettern, Baumaterial und Gerätschaften belegt war. Der seitliche Balkon der Wohnung war blockiert durch das Gerüst, wenn man aus dem Schlafzimmer auf den Balkon trat schlug man sich den Kopf an. Im Treppenhaus lagen Baumaterialien und Gerätschaften. Samstag/ Sonntag kein großes Problem. Aber unter der Woche arbeiteten die Handwerker... Wir waren genau zweimal während der Arbeitszeiten in der Wohnung: auf der Terrasse starker Verkehrslärm, in der Wohnung Hämmern, Sägen, Kratzen, etc. von den Handwerkern im Stockwerk darüber. Der Baulärm übertönte sogar den Verkehrslärm. So möchte man seinen Urlaub nicht verbringen! Der Lärm war eigentlich unzumutbar, wir sind jeweils nach kürzester Zeit aus der Wohnung geflohen. Die zu späte und verharmlosende Information des Vermieters war nicht fair gegenüber uns, seinen Gästen. Zusammenfassend: Sehr schöne Wohnung, die wir leider nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Wir haben die Situation mit Videos (Tonaufnahmen) dokumentiert.

Das Appartment ist sehr schön, sehr gut gelegen und vollständig ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr gut, die Reaktionen promt. Auch nach Anreise gibt es Tipps und Empfehlungen. Jederzeit gern wieder.

Panorama magnifico

Bellissimo appartamento, comodo per due famiglie, un po’ lontano per raggiungere il centro a piedi ma comunque comodo e in posizione strategica. Il garage e il suo utilizzo rispecchia meno i canoni della comodità ma si può fare…. Questo è il secondo alloggio in cui soggiorno in Sardegna e anche in questo caso è imbarazzante la gestione dei rifiuti… anche perché viene comunicata unicamente all’arrivo nell’abitazione: si è praticamente obbligati ( dopo aver comunque doverosamente riposto correttamente i rifiuti negli appositi cassonetti) pena, la non restituzione dei 200 euro di caparra, a mettere fuori dal l’edificio, per chi soggiorna in questo appartamento, il giovedì il cassone della plastica in cui depositano tutti gli inquilini… strabordante di rifiuti è pesantissimo … ma non capisco… io sono in ferie… ho pagato quanto richiesto dal locatore… possibile che non sia provvedere in altro modo a questo servizio… ovunque io abbia mai soggiornato nessuno si è mai permesso di obbligarmi anche a gestire la consegna dei rifiuti che invece giustamente vanno differenziati. Oltre a ciò, avevamo avvisato che avremmo fatto il check out alle 9,30 e ci era stato risposto che dopo le nove sarebbe bastato avvisare e ci avrebbe raggiunto entro 15 minuti. Il check out da contratto è previsto per le 10… la ragazza è arrivata alle 10,05 dopo essere stata avvisata alle 9 che noi saremmo stati pronti… ma d’altra parte ormai non abbiamo potuto far altro che aspettare per poter ricevere la cauzione…
