A Beautiful Stay for our elopement weekend. We had a wonderful stay at Gate Lodge. The location is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking scenery and the peaceful atmosphere you hope for when visiting Ireland. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and take in the natural beauty of the area. Horses, cows, chickens and mini horses. The accommodation was comfortable, welcoming, and clean, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The surrounding area was especially lovely, with the coastline and countryside providing such a beautiful backdrop.What really stood out to us was the warm hospitality and the feeling that this was a place where you could truly unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again on our one year anniversary and for years to come. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to stay while exploring countryside of Ireland, I would definitely recommend Gate Lodge. It was a memorable part of our trip to Ireland!

What a magical retreat. If I could rate this 11 out of 10, I would!! Stunning beautiful inside and out. Private and quaint. My fiancé/now wife stayed here wedding/honeymoon and we both couldn’t have been happier. We will be back for years to come.

Perfect base

Exactly as it looks. Beautifully presented and designed. Warm,comfortable and quiet. Great base for us for a weekend to see cliffs, parks and towns of Clare. Can’t fault it.
