Relax and enjoy time with your family and friends in this gorgeous custom built log home on a 3.5-acre private lot. Breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, Winter Park & Mary Jane ski slopes and Byers Peak. This home can sleep a party up to 16 people(contact for additional sleeping requirements as our neighbors have a rental property as well)! This is a great reunion home with so many amenities such as a 1,200 sq. ft. deck with seating, dining & grill, hot tub, large fire pit area, a variety of games such as ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard in the basement recreation room. Custom bar, Direct TV, wifi, a 20-minute drive to lakes or ski resorts in either direction, 10 minutes to 2 grocery stores and endless hiking right out the back door and view enjoyment! So many vacation memories can be made in this wonderful log home!

Amazing place

This house is incredible. We had a large group and it was so spacious for all of us. The games, fireplaces, hot tub, and set up were all perfect!!! We were there to ski but we would have loved to just stay in and enjoy this beautiful home. Will definitely be back!

Perfect place for a family reunion!

This is a beautiful estate with a beautiful view and all of the Colorado vibes. More than enough room for 13 of us. The deck behind the house has views of several 13k-foot peaks with the Winter Park ski runs visible with the naked eye. The kids in our group had a blast with ping pong, shuffleboard, and the massive theater screen TV. The grown-ups enjoyed the very well-appointed kitchen and the pantry had all the staples. We had a fabulous time and will likely stage our next reunion in this very house.

5 day ski trip. Wonderful home. Well taken care of. Super spacious, perfect set up for kids/families. Kitchen, dining and living room all connected for Great interaction. The lodge was amazing, everything was perfect for our stay. The rustic setting was beautiful. We spent hours outside on the deck, viewing the sites and playing games, We had 8 adults and 6 kids. The kids loved the game room and theater room. The adults loved that they were able to talk as the kids were always entertained. Bedrooms were comfortable. We were close to lots of activities, between Frazier, Grandby, and Winterpark. Did a lot of hiking, exploring, shopping. Also saw a moose and twins about a mile from the lodge. The kitchen and pantry were amazing. It was well stocked for anything we needed. The lodge itself was the vacation— would definitely recommend.

We have been homeowners in WP Highlands since 1999. We rented our first WP home for several years, from 2001-2011, while we were building our eventual dream home across the street. We have been working on this home for over 8 years, and finally finished it in 2013.
It is not only a great home, we want to help our guests enjoy this special place. and will always be willing to give advice on what to do in the area. Although we are pet lovers, no pets allowed with rentals.

Why they chose this property

The home is made for entertaining. It was designed with large groups in mind. We use it with friends and family in mind. It is used to bring people together. From the kitchen to great room, to circular dining room, it was all designed with large groups in mind. The basement is the ultimate entertainment center with fireplace, large tv, 14-foot shuffleboard table, ping -pong, foosball, and more.
Even with the great 2 floors, the most popular gathering place is either on the deck during warm weather, or around the epic fire pit in the rear during winter or evenings. Although we are pet lovers, no pets allowed with rentals.
