Sitting in front of the wood burner in the evening reminiscing on the day’s adventures and planning for the next, you don’t need to go far to have a great day as you have the option to go to the local beach in Torrin. Cuillin View is a great location to be based for touring the island, the nearest town is Broadford which is 6 miles away, whilst the main town of Portree is 25 miles north. The journey to Cuillin View can be made on one of the ferries which take you to the south of the island, or the famous Skye bridge, whichever way you will have wonderful and dramatic scenery to view. This magnificent island is steeped in local history and landmarks; if you enjoy hiking you can climb the Cuillins or Blaven Mountain.
Go on one of the Elgol boat trips and see Skye from the outside in, or visit Neist Point Lighthouse which is the most westerly tip of Skye. The Fairy Pools are situated at the base of the Cuillins, a short drive from Tallisker distillery. On the north of the island, you can visit the dinosaur footprints, the Old man of Storr or the Quirang for scenic walks. Scottish Licence Number HI-30108-F
