Great location with available parking - a must in Portree. Lovely 2 bedroom cottage. Large laundry facilities and full size fridge. Appliances were great. Bathroom with shower was quite large. We do like to cook in and did find a lack of good knives. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Great location and comfortable house for the four of us. Beds were comfy, shower was great, good kitchen set-up and it has a good living room to hang out in after a long day of hiking. The lack of promised wifi, also noted by a previous person in a note to the owner, was a bummer, though, and the bathroom light didn’t work (the mirror had a built-in light that worked thank goodness). Also, they need to oil or somehow fix the super-squeaky/scrape-y bathroom door. And now that I remember it, communication wasn’t actually great. I kept sending messages asking for a link to pay the remaining balance as the trip approached and didn’t get one until the day I needed to pay or would lose the reservation, which freaked me out. Also, there were some characters (44444 I think) in some of the boxes in the payment form and when I tried to remove them and submit payment it wouldn’t go through. But it finally did so all’s well that ends well.
We were blessed to stay here. Walking distance to all of downtown and a great launching point for touring Isle of Skye. This was our "laundry day" and amenities were perfect. We would stay here again! Thank you!
My wife and I stayed in the cottage for three nights on the Isle of Skye . We had a wonderful time there. The hiking is beautiful. The location is excellent for getting to restaurants and the grocery store. Definitely recommend making dinner reservations ahead of time. We really loved the three chimneys restaurant kitchen table tasting menu. The house is cozy, warm and very convenient.
We had a very quiet and nice stay in Portree with our family: the place is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is especially nice and the overall set up was great. Just need to fix a temperature knob in the shower!
The location was nice, a short walk to town. The washer and dryer were very helpful! There were some things we couldnt figure out (like the tv) and didnt seem to get a response about how to get it to work, which was a bummer but not a huge deal. Quiet, clean and comfortable

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The place smelled a little musty, and it triggered allergies for us. Some of the dishes also looked a little questionable, or maybe were just very old and should be replaced. Other than that it was tidy and the bed linens were very clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The location was unbeatable, a 10-min walk into town and to all the restaurants, and was situated on a quiet, beautiful street. The house is "self-served," so we were required to buy our own toilet paper & paper towels after the initial supply ran out. Was still a fabulous stay and would recommend for a budget-friendly option in Portree.
The property was very nice, clean and everything was as expected. We were half way through our trip and the laundry machine was very nice to be able to do couple loads of laundry to get us through. Bathroom was newly renovated and very spa-like. Parking was attached and secure in this safe neighborhood. House was walkable to downtown and the grocery store. Our only complaint was the lack of communication with Anthony then house manager, tried texting and calling about the lack of a WiFi password in the welcome papers. Other than the WiFi I would stay at this property again.
