It's hard to overstate how great Kiddicott Farm is. Our 6-person family spent Christmas week in Cottage #3, and it was the loveliest experience. I honestly thought it was going to be a little sad in the middle of winter, but the spaces/bed/bathrooms were what my family needed, so I booked it. It was anything but sad. The fields were still green, and there was a flock of sheep passing through a couple times a day. The view was quintessential English countryside--so charming and inviting. The property owner, Malcolm, was the consummate doting host, meeting our every need from the moment we arrived (which was: late, without a vehicle, and in need of groceries until the we could pick up our rental car the following day.) Malcolm drove my husband and me to the grocery store for some breakfast staples (and used his discount card to save us 40%!) Very sweet. When we were having trouble with the internet connection for the TV, he brought over the engineer right away to fix it. He supplied us with specialty cookware and kitchen implements for our Christmas dinner. I could go on, but you get the picture: we were very well taken care of. The cottage itself is well stocked, and notably the windows, interior and exterior doors, and flooring were of the highest quality--which means we had quiet nights and were able to keep the indoor temperature nice and cozy. All the spaces were a great size for our family. It felt luxe and spacious. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

WONDERFUL

We spent two weeks this summer in one of the cottages. The accommodation was utterly spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts Christine and Malcom were very welcoming and on hand should we need anything. The welcome tray was fabulous and the home made apple juice delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kiddicott Cottages and should we be in the area again would hope to stay again.

Beautifully presented cottage in a stunning location,

Superb fully equipped and beautifully presented accommodation with literally everything that you need for a short or long stay retreat. Fantastic views over the garden area and far reaching fields and just a short drive to supermarket and Exeter town. Perfect location. Christine was an excellent host, very accommodating and certainly helped us feel less stressed and really made us feel welcome - loved the welcome pack with locally sourced produced which we thought was truly delicious. We will certainly be booking again. Thank you both :)

Fantastic Holiday Cottage

On arrival we received a warm welcome from Christine who showed us round the cottage which was spotless and amazingly well stocked. Christine had even gone to the trouble of leaving us a fresh fruit salad for breakfast. The cottage was really peaceful and had a huge enclosed garden where our 2 children could play safely. In terms of location, there was plenty to do within a short car journey. We will almost certainly book again next year.

Absolutely wonderful property and welcoming hosts

We chose this property as a home from home whilst working in the area. The pictures do not do this place justice, especially for the price. Christine attended to our every need throughout our 10 night stay. Thank you

What a lovely experience

Kiddicott farm is a really lovely experience Great place, nearly new. Spacious and stylish. Built by Malcolm and managed by Christine. Totally lovely people. Great grounds and giant chicken in a run. Fruit from the orchard is lovely too. Good location and great farm shop nearby with delicious fish and chips. Green dale farm shop. Local pub the White Horse has great roast beef at a great price. Very hospitable hosts and easy to book in

Magnificent in every way

This is a real find. The property, location, space, comfort, furnishing and warm welcome from both Christine and Malcolm is truly special. Having booked a late Bank Holiday family break, we could not have been more pleased with our choice of holiday home. The quality of this property has to be seen, the pictures do not do it justice. Every aspect offers a home from home, relaxed environment with lots of room for our family of 6. From the luxury en-suite in every bedroom, to the spacious open plan lounge overlooking open countryside, this house offered us everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing break. Our whole family really enjoyed the stay and all want to return.
