The accommodation was of a good standard and generally well equipped. However our family group included a 2 year old and we felt that the house was not toddler friendly. The stairs being in the living area were a problem because there was no stair gate and all seating has hard edges and corners. The property was exactly as described and perhaps I should have given more thought before booking. However, the site was lovely an children particularly enjoyed the animals and swimming pool.

This is what I wrote to Europarc:I am writing to formally complain about severe hygiene, maintenance, and pest issues during our stay.Upon check-in, the unit was unhygienic and neglected. Floors, light switches, and surfaces were covered in grime, dried blood on bedroom floor/bathroom/light switch and all cookware/dishes required rewashing. The unit was heavily infested with pests—our group had to clear 200 spiders and 50 flies inside. Both provided cooling fans were broken, and unsealed window screens allowed more bugs to enter when opening windows to handle the heat.Front desk staff offered no support or follow-up when reported. Our group of 6 spent 4 hours deep-cleaning and 50 out-of-pocket on supplies just to make the space habitable, leaving it 10x cleaner than we arrived. Speaking with other guests confirmed this is a systemic maintenance failure, not an isolated incident.Given the breach of basic hospitality standards and lost vacation time.

Es sollte deutlicher gemacht werden, dass das unsere Zimmer ein Badezimmer mit im gleichen Raum hat. Das kann befremdlich wirken.

Séjour à Europarc Uitman

Attention : les photos de l’annonce de l’appartement ne correspondent pas à ce que vous trouverez en arrivant!! N’arrivez pas après 18h sinon la réception sera fermée !! Maîtrisez absolument l’anglais sinon communication impossible !! Le restaurant jamais ouvert… Le personnel est charmant mais se décharge sur Abritel concernant tous ces « désagréments » au niveau de l’annonce. L’endroit est heureusement magnifique et très calme et très proche d’Amsterdam et d’autres magnifiques petits villages.
