The property, which consists of a house with private pool and additional two apartments with separate entrance, is situated in a quiet and peaceful 1100 m² estate, in the nice neighbourhood of the village Maslinica, surrounded with Mediterranean vegetation, secluded from noise and intrusions.The house is newly built, surrounded by a large garden with Mediterranean trees and plants. Here you can really find the true Mediterranean.

Enjoy the healing smells of Mediterranean vegetation as you dive into the serenity of the deep blue of the Adriatic Sea.
Find your peace in our villa, enjoying the sunsets of Maslinica, a small village located on the west coast of this magnificent island.

Accessibility: The Island of Šolta is easily reachable from Split. Ferries go from Split 6 times a day and the ride lasts only 45 minutes. For guests that are coming without a car there are speed boats going 2 times a day and they reach Šolta in 20 minutes. For those guests we can also offer transportation to the apartment.

Split is the biggest city in the region, situated on major tourists routes. Main Croatian motorway runs to Split and in 3 to 4 hours of driving you will reach Split from western borders of Croatia. Buses, trains and ferries come to Split from all around Europe.

Accessibility by air: Airport Resnik is the only airport of the City of Split and the biggest in the region. From the airport to Split seaport, where you take the ferry or speed boat, it’s a 25-minute drive. There you take a boat to Šolta.
If necessary we can arrange for our guests transportation with speed boats from airport to the island. With this ride you could easily be at your vacation place in 30 minutes

With the ride from the airport, a ride with a boat and a short ride on the island you could easily be at your vacation place within 2 hours of travel.

Amazing villa

Stay in Maslinica

We had a lovely two weeks staying at Jean’s place in Maslinica. The house was spotless when we arrived and was well equipped. The views from the pool and terrace of the sea are lovely and villa faces west so you get stunning sunsets. Jean could not have been more helpful, and took us on a tour of the area and to a nearby supermarket to stock up as we didn’t have a car. The house is a short walk to the beach and to the harbour of the village where there are shops and restaurants. The bus service from the harbour to the rest of the island is excellent and much better value than taxis which charge more than ten times as much for short journeys. The only downsides where that the villa only has one air conditioning unit, which was not adequate in a summer heatwave. Each room has fans but the rooms sometimes got hot and stuffy. The other downside is that a new villa has been constructed in front of the house which wasn’t in the original pictures and sadly has obstructed some of the view. Maslinica is a beautiful spot and a lovely place to have a holiday. This villa is well located close to all amenities and a very comfortable base to explore the island.

We had a great time in the house. It had everything you needed and more, we could even use the kajak. The host is always willing to help in every situation and gave us useful information for the island. The location is beautiful and everything necessary is not far. We recommend the Villa and would love to come back again.

Great Villa and great hosts.

We had a brilliant holiday in Aug this year. Jean met us on arrival and showed us around the property. He then took time to show us around the local area and made a couple of recommendations for places to eat. The Villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The cable tv was appreciated by the kids for watching the football ! The pool was amazing very clean and and perfect for all of us. Location of the villa is very good being only a 10 minute walk to the harbour which had plenty of places to eat and was a great place to watch the sun go down. As others have said there is a very good bus service from the ferry port and we would not bother with a car if we came again. The house only has one air con unit on the stairs which kept downstairs cool. The bedrooms were a little warm but every room had a fan fitted which helped. We would not hesitate to come back and stay on Šolta and would certainly love to stay here again. If you want to kick back and relax then I would highly recommend. Ps They also have a great selection of mountain bikes and a kayak which we used. The mountain bikes are great way to explore the local area.

A lovely property and pool in a charming location

The villa and pool is in a fab location where there is no need for a car - I wouldn’t bother hiring one next time. There are perfectly adequate bus services to and from the ferry - Rogac - Split. The restaurants and beaches of Masalinica are very sweet and the people are gentle and welcoming. Jean was a perfect host and was extremely accommodating. The house is just lovely - I would agree with a previous guest however that air conditioning in the bedrooms would be a bonus - but I am also aware of how expensive the units are to run. The pool is fab and was very welcome during the heat of the day. We would love to return - we have such a wonderfully relaxing week.

Beautiful house in Maslinica

We stayed in this really nice house in the end of July 2018, and felt welcome form the beginning. The owner picked us up by the ferry. Sean and Sanja are perfect hosts and they really care for their guests. They provide the best of service and the house is very well kept. The house is even better than the pictures and we had a lovely relaxing week. Sheets and towels are fresh and the whole property is very clean. Maslinica is a small town. There is one grocery shop whithin walking distance and a few restaurants in town. But we found the best food in the Konoba Sesula, also whithin walking distance. If you want a relaxing week in a really nice house with all the amenities you need and the best hosts you shuold rent this house. We would gladly give our warmest recommendations to our friends and family.

Lovely property, great pool, amazing views and helpful hosts.

We had a great time staying at this property for 10 nights. The house was very clean on arrival. The house has a lot of character and the pool and outside space are fabulous for adults and kids alike with wonderful views out the sea and the neighbouring islands. The hosts were very helpful and easy to contact throughout the stay. Maslinca is a lovely village with some good restaurants (although you need to book in advance). I would recommend having a car for ease of seeing more of the island and also the supermarket option in Maslinca is fairly limited. There are more shopping options in Grohote (Butcher, Baker, fish stall, fruit and veg stalls & pharmacy) 10 minutes away, but we found the taxis to be an expensive option. The beach is absolutely gorgeous - swimming and snorkelling was a highlight of our trip. We had a great speedboat transfer which Jean helpfully arranged for us and transferred us and our luggage the little way from the marina. Only reason we haven’t given 5 stars is that the bedrooms weren’t air conditioned (there is one AC unit in the stairway). Other than that fabulous stay and we would definitely recommend.

Lovley house with super hosts

We were two families with 4 adults and 5 children and we had ten woundful days at Solta. The house was delicate and clean. Both the house and the pool were according to the pictures. Please be aware that the nineth bed is a sofa bed in the living room. I drove around the Solta island for a day and I would not change this villa for any other property on the island. The owners Jean and Sanja were very friendly, helpful and hospitable.

Lovely villa with beautiful views in a quiet area and wonderful owners.

This will possibly post as Chris May as he booked the villa but I am his daughter Nicole Burgess who joined my parents with my husband and our two daughters aged 1 and 12. I cannot recommend this place enough, the villa is lovely, clean and has everything you need with an upstairs bathroom and downside toilet with shower which was great for us as meant we didn't have to go upstairs for the loo in the evening so didn't disturb the baby. The pool is lovely, although a little chilly on occasion, and the views are superb. It is in a lovely quiet area, very peaceful, and only a short walk to the harbour with two options of either down steps or a further walk with no steps but conviently past the beach bar :-) Jean and his wife were absolutely wonderful with nothing too much trouble. They even bought a cot and high chair especially to accommodate for the baby which we are very grateful for. We would definitely recommend this villa and would definitely return. Thank you Jean for everything and we hope to see you again.

Lovely setting just above Maslinica

The villa is set in a small, quiet lane just above the town. We had a lovely welcome from Jean and Sanja who settled us in and even took us for a short drive to show us nearby restaurants, the beaches and the town. It a pleasant short walk down to the harbour for meals or food shopping. We had good meals just alone the road at Sampjer (view out to sea) and at the hotel Martinis-Marchi (view of the harbour). To swim, you can walk the short walk down to the main beach or walk round the harbour past the hotel and find a place on the rocks. Do walk or drive to Sesula (the cove next to Maslinica) and swim there and enjoy the two very good restaurants. We had a car (in the summer get to Split 2 hours before the ferry) but you could just go to the restaurants, supermarket, bread shop and bars locally and take taxis when you want to explore the island. We had a boat trip for snorkeling and we hired kayaks from the other little towns on the island. It is worth taking the ferry back for a day trip to Split. The house itself has a lovely outside space with plenty of shade and furniture to spread out on. It is very quiet and private despite other guests staying at the other end of the property. Anyway, the four of us had a wonderful time. Oh yes, buy those little swimming shoes so you can easily swim off the rocks in all the wonderful coves around the island.

Beatiful, quiet, private holiday stay

We had a great time. Sitting in Maslinica, listening to our kids screaming and having fun in the water, talking to my friends, listening to cicadas, smelling the pine trees, swimming in the crystal clear water….it is heaven. Perfect swimming pool for kids as well as for adults. The beach is 8 mins walk distance with small kids. The description of the property is clear. House is nice and very clean. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance and you get everything you need. Jean is very nice person who gave us every support we needed. We would definitely recommend the house for holiday. A little bit of Heaven

We have just had the most amazing holiday in this wonderful villa. There were 3 families, 12 people in total and we had the villa plus 1 of the apartments. I will start with the villa it is exactly as it is described, very clean, fab pool and outside area, wonderful views and only a 5 minute walk to the marina/beach. Here you will find a well stocked little supermarket. On a morning we would wander down to buy fresh croissants and sit on the beautiful little harbour and watch the world go by. There are at least 6 very good restaurants in Maslinica but some of them are real hidden gems in the most beautiful setting. One of our favourite things to do was go to the beach bar and watch the Sun set over the Crystal clear sea (water shoes are a must as beach is rocky). One of the reasons our stay here was so good was because of Jean and Sanja the owners, they are the nicest most helpful people you could meet we can't thank them enough. I would happily recommend this villa to anyone and would definitely stay again. Maslinica thank you and please don't change! Durham on tour 2017

Fantastic place to relax

We stayed in the apartment attached to the villa, this was very spacious for our family of three. Everything we could possibly need was readily available and we were lucky enough to be with friends renting the attached villa so had full access to the pool. The owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful. I would highly recommend a holiday to this property, we were completely relaxed during our stay enjoying eating out at many of the restaurants, having coffee whilst watching the world go by or simply enjoying the beautiful scenery,

Marvellous stay in Maslinica

The four of us (2 adults, 2 children 9 years) spent 2 weeks in Maslinica, in Sanjas and Jeans wonderful house. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need, and also stylish and comfortable. The new pool with saltwater - which belongs to the house exclusively - was just perfect - not only for the children, but also for us parents. It is big enough to get a decent exercise and to relax at the pool, when you don't feel like walking down to the beach. Everything one needs is in walking distance. A variety of small beaches with crystal clear and turquoise water, restaurants in the beautiful harbor and some shops in order to buy groceries. A car is not really needed. Bikes are there as well if you would like to be more active. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, and always there when needed - you just want to come back. We definitely will. Best place ever!

Our holidays in Maslinica (Solta) at Villa Voga were awesome. Dear Sanja and Jean, we enjoyed so much being Your guests. The house is so beautyful, the pool fantastic and the view from the terrace down to the bay outstanding, espacially at sunset-time when the sky turns from blue into colours like pink and peach. We loved Maslinica. Espacially the port is a nice place to be with some nice restaurants, the Sailors Club on the other side with a fantastic hotel complex that is illuminated every night and has attractive music acts from time to time. From Villa Voga You just need a couple of minutes to reach the port or the beach. Most of all we appreciated the incredible hospitality that was given to us from our hosts. So thank You a thousand times, Sanja and Jean, for Your warmth, kindness and helpfulness! It was an absolutely pleasure being Your guests. Thanks for Your support especially in Split where Jean escorted us with our daughter to the hospital, stayed with us during the hole caregiving, showed us a good pharmacy and brought us back to the ferry. That is far more than You expect, so we can truely say: At Villa Voga the guests are NUMBER ONE - just as Jean told me right from the start: If You have a problem - whatever it is - call me and we will find a solution. At the end we have spend two fantastic weeks in Maslinica. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation! Einfach nur erholsam.

Vor unserer Reise haben wir uns schon sehr auf Kroatien gefreut, da wir dieses Land schon mehrfach besucht haben und die Menschen sehr dort sehr schätzen. Die Insel Solta war uns noch unbekannt, aber wir haben uns auf der Insel und in der Villa Voga, wir bewohnten zu Zweit eine der beiden kleineren Ferienwohnungen (Erdgeschoß), sehr wohl gefühlt. Sanja und Jean sind perfekte Gastgeber. Jean machte mit uns eine kurze "Dorfrundfahrt" und erklärte uns die wichtigsten Dinge, empfahl uns Restaurants und versteckte Buchten. Unsere Wohnung war sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlte an fast nichts. Wünschenswert wäre ein Toaster. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Unser Auto haben wir auf der Insel nur für die An- und Abreise benötigt. Es fahren Busse nach Rogać und Umgebung, außerdem kann man sich ein Moped ausleihen und damit die Insel erkunden. Maslinica ist ein liebenswertes Örtchen ohne Massentourismus. Die Villa Voga und ihre Gastegeber können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Nochmal lieben Dank für die gute Betreuung, auch wenn es mit unseren Englischkenntnissen etwas holprig war. :-) Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Ganz liebe Grüße von Uli und Rolf

Super Urlaub in Villa Voga

Wir waren zu 8 Personen im schönen Haus (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder). Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen es ist sehr schön, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man hat sehr viel Raum und Platz um sich in der Anlage und im Haus wohl zu fühlen. Die schöne Aussicht und der in wenigen Minuten zu fuß erreichbarer schöner Strand mit glassklarem Wasser ist eine Reise wert. Der Ort bietet Ruhe und Entspannung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants für die Ruhesuchende ideal. Die Gastgeberfamilie hat sich sehr bemüht und war immer für uns erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Großes Dankeschön und liebe Grüße an die Gastgeberfamilie.

Simplement parfait !!

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans la magnifique maison de Zan, tout était parfait : la très belle piscine, la très confortable terrasse ombragée, la vue magnifique sur les iles, le calme et le proximité du magnifique petit port de Maslinica. la maison était très confortable avec ses 4 chambres son salon ses pièces d'eau et sa cuisine ouverte. les hôtes ont été parfait pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir waren zu 7 Personen im schönen Feriendomizil Solta. Am Anfang mußten wir uns erst mal finden, da wir aus einer Großstadt kommen. Schnell haben wir uns an die Gegebenheiten/ Ortschaft eingelebt. Das Haus ist groß / die Zimmer sind wie beschrieben in der Anzeige und sauber war es in jedem Fall. Die Einrichtung der Küche/ etc. wie in der Beschreibung war alles vorhanden, mit anderen Worten uns hat es an "nichts" gefehlt. Die Betreuung bzw. die Erreichbarkeit der Eigentümer war zur jeder Zeit gegeben und sie gaben sich Viel Mühe mit der Gastfreundschaftlichkeit. Kurz in allem waren wir alle sehr zu Zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Der Alltag konnte vergessen werden und wir hatten alle viel Erholung. Das Haus/ die Lage/ die Gastfreundschaft können wir somit ohne Bedenken an alle die Intresse haben, weiterempfehlen. Der Ort ist zum erholen da, der Tourismus hat sich Gott sei dank in Grenzen gehalten, sodass am naheliegend Strand auch das relaxen möglich war. Eine Selbstverpflegung ging ohne Probleme, da in der Ortschaft mit kurzen Wegen alles erreichbar war. Das Wasser am Strand, aber auch in den naheliegenden Buchten war traumhaft/ sauber und für Groß und Klein zum spielen/ schnorcheln etc... Why they chose this property

Šolta still escapes mass tourism and commercialization.
You can really enjoy swimming, sports activities, diving and snorkeling and of course touring the island by foot, bike, car or bus.
This island is such a peaceful romantic place with easy access to the historical Unesco sites of Split, Trogir and Hvar.
Compare to the other areas of the island this, west side, has cleaner waters, better views and picturesque little village that has grown from around an old castle.
