This lovely little terraced house (by Heart of Garda) on the hills above Salò is part of a peaceful residence with a great swimming pool and surrounded by a luxuriant vegetation.
The house stands on three floors composed in this way:
-kitchen with a furnished terrace from which you can have a meal enjoying a suggestive sight and a bathroom
-two bedrooms (one of this has its own little bathroom) and a small private garden
-a third little bedroom in a open-plan attic
2 private car parks.
Free wifi.

POSITION: The complex stands in a elegant residential zone on the hills above Salò reachable via a winding road. Salò is 7 km far.
The nearest supermarket is 4 km far, while the nearest restaurant 2 km. Car is necessary.

BEDROOMS: The three bedrooms have these characteristics:
- one is in the open plan garret
- one with its own bathroom is areated by a window "at the mouth of the wolf"
- the third one opens into the garden.

BATHROOMS: The main bathroom has a bath (that can be used as a shower), the second little bathroom a shower.

AIR CODITIONING: It is in the open plan attic (it cools also the living-area).
While the other downstairs bedrooms don't need of airconditioning, because their position in the house keep them fresh.

POOL: a large swimming-pool shared only with the other guests/owner of the residence.
Four private sun loungers are provided.

Lovely holiday house in a beautiful location

We spent a week in this lovely little house and it exceeded our expectations! Our communication with the properly owner Valentina was excellent and she was very helpful and accommodating from booking, throughout our stay and when we left. The location is just lovely with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful views, great hikes out the door. Wonderful host. Never got to use the pool due to temperature outside but would be wonderful to use in warmer temperatures. The outdoor space was great for an afternoon lunch.

Fantastic stay in stunning location.

We had a wonderful family stay in the Blue House. Property was exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed. Our two young girls loved the house, the pool and the surrounding. Valentina was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything and gave us lots of local recommendations. Beautiful, calm surroundings with stunning views. Perfect for anyone wishing to get away from city life and enjoy the natural beauty of the Italian hills.

Entspannter Urlaub 2022

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit schöner Fernsicht auf den Gardasee. Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet. Einzig eine Klimaanlage für die sehr heißen Tage wäre wünschenswert. Zur Abkühlung steht ein großer Gemeischaftspool zur Verfügung, der auch in der Hauptsaison nicht überlaufen war. Toller Urlaub!

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einer sehr schönen, gepflegten Anlage. Wunderschöner Pool, sehr ruhig. Und ein einfach grandioser Blick von der Terasse auf die Bucht von Salo. Sehr netter Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin: sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub hier - ein echter Glückstreffer!

Good location for all preferring a bit of distance to the busy lakeside villages

Flat in a former monastery with nice view on the (distant) southern part of Lake Garda (note - by Lake Garda standards with its spectacular sights, the view is just 'nice' where elsewhere it would be 'great') from the balcony and the pool terrace. Children will enjoy the 'splash type' pool (not very large and deep but good fun anyway), grown-ups the terrace shaded by old trees. Spacious living / dining area (note: without view due to the authentic architecture with only two narrow terrace doors/windows to the balcony and thick walls), solidly equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, rather plain main bedroom with double bed. Second bedroom for up to three children in single / bunk beds however without additional room. Note - not suitable for younger children if they need to be watched (floor level window without grid, free access to pool, low-level wall which children can climb on). Access via a typical Italian hillside road and very narrow gate - we managed to just pass it with a Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan class van, but quite a bit of driving experience required. Main bedroom wardrobe suffers from humidity issues typical for old buildings but was manageable (summer visit with windows opened). The location is a bit remote from the busy lakeside (takes you around 10-15min to get to the next supermarket, restaurant) which can be an advantage - if you hear any traffic, that is very much remote, rather you hear the birds in the morning, and after a 5mins walk you are in the nearby forest. In all - not at the high end but solid value for money.

Lovely location, but expensive for what it is.

Lovely location and host was very welcoming. However bathrooms were both pretty poor and there isn’t much seating for any more than 4 guests. Would have been nice to have a better welcome pack than just a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. No air conditioning but host did supply two fans when we asked, but we had to assemble them ourselves. Had some leaking in the property during a heavy rainstorm too that the owner dismissed. Awful WiFi, owner stated they will upgrade next year but didn’t console me for this year. Nice pool and good location for exploring Salo and surrounding area.

Dear Huw, This is a completly unexpected review, since at your departure you were smiling and told us to be satisfied of your stay.It is a not respectful and a vile behavior waiting to be at home and behind the screen to make complains. However,who reads your feedback (of a person who writes that bottles of water and wine as welcome pack are not enough) understands that your complains lack of any real sustance.Moreover welcome pack is an our gift, a little surprise for the guests,totally free and voluntary, not a duty!! Regards to the other points: - the price has remained pratically unchanged since 2012 and no guest complained about it - most of the families that come are composed by 5 or 6 people.So your sentence 'there isn't any much seating for more than 4' has no sense.It is untruth. - who rent our apartment knows that there is no air condition.In the ad the presence of it is not mentioned. - when you asked us to provide other fans, we immediately run to the supermarket to buy other two -despite we were working.We didn't assemble them because we were busy and in that moment we had no time to assemble them but we told you that if you had needed help later we would have done it! Your reply was: no problem, it is all ok. - that heavy thunderstorm caused damages in all area. The strong wind moved some tyles from the roof and a little water fell down one wall of the house: it can happens that some inconveniences come after unforseeable events. The day after we called our worker to have a look but he couldn't that day and since the weather forcast predicted sun for the last two days of your stay, there wasn't the emergency to check the roof (even because in case of normal rain, water wouldn't have fallen into again). - unfortunately during August - very high season - wifi didn't work well (it is truth) because of the presence of lots of owners in the residence. And we are sorry for this! But there is to notify that after having resetted the router, I asked you to inform me if it continued to work bad - no answer from your side, so we supposed that the internet started to work a bit better. However to avoid the problem of internet, as you wrote, and offer a better service to our guests from 2019 we install our own internet- not shared with the condominium as it is now. Luckily our reviews are a garancy of our diligence to make our guests spend a pleasant holidays. Red and Blue Houses have 19 reviews with 5 stars, 3 with 4* and only 2 with 3*. Best regards

ruhige, am Hang gelegene und gepflegte Ferienanlage

Die private Ferienanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet mit einem großen und sauberen Pool. Sie liegt ungefähr auf halber Höhe eines Berges inmitten von anderen privaten Anwesen. Dadurch ist es ruhig, kein Touristenrummel. Der Gardasee ist jedoch etwas entfernt. Er ist von weitem zu sehen, aber ohne Auto nicht erreichbar. Alle Aktivitäten sind nur mit dem Auto möglich, da auf der sehr schmalen serpentinenähnlichen Straße kein Spaziergang oder Wanderung möglich sind. Das Haus ist für eine Familie mit drei oder auch vier Kindern ausreichend groß und prima geeignet. Die einzelnen Etagen bieten auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Das zweite Bad im Souterrain ist sehr winzig, auch etwas renovierungsbedürftig, aber es gibt somit eine zweite Toilette. Ein erholsamer Urlaub ist garantiert. Wir hatten das Glück, dass in einer Woche unseres Urlaubs lediglich ein weiteres Haus bewohnt war, so dass wir allein in dem schönen Pool waren. Absolut toll! Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist ausreichend. Kaffeemaschine oder Toaster gibt es leider nicht. Aber vierflammiger Herd, Ofen, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle sind vorhanden. Die Vermieterin Valentina war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas brauchten und hat sich sogar um einen deutschsprachigen Arzt gekümmert. Es hat uns sehr gefallen, vor allem unseren Wasserratten.

Hints are very important for us! Regars to the coffee machine, in the apartment there is an italian moka... As you have written, the car is necessary, because the Residence is in a hill zone (Salò is 7 km, Supermarkets and Restaurants 4 km far) but this guarantees a peacel atmosphere, very appreciated after a long day trip round the lake! Moreover there are some nice paths here on the hills to go for a walk leaving the car at the Residence. We hope to meet you again so we can show you them ;) . Ruhig, Entspannt & Idyllisch

Wir (4 Erwachsene und ein Kind) hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub im blauen Haus. Das Ferienhaus ist mit einer modernen Küche ausgestattet. Zwei Schlafzimmer sind im unteren Geschoss und somit angenehm Kühl im Sommer. Der Pool war stets sauber und das Gelände ist für Fremde nicht zugänglich. Der wunderschöne Ort Salò ist in 10 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen (Parkplatzempfehlung am Markt). Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war persönlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen wieder! Gepflegte Anlage mit zwei kleinen Mängel

Das Haus liegt über der Bucht von Salo. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und für Familien mit Kindern ideal. Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kindern. Es war unter dem Dach eine Zimmer für die Kinder und im Erd-/Kellergeschoss zwei Zimmer für die Eltern. Mittendrin war die Wohnküche mit einem Bad. Unten im Erdgeschoß war das zweite Bad, eine Waschmaschine und auch ein Kinderbett für Kleinkinder. Die Kinder können sich frei bewegen, der Pool ist von jedem Haus nur 10 m entfernt und vom Balkon der Wohnung aus einsehbar. Das Gelände können die Kinder nicht verlassen. Somit kann man als Eltern die Kinder einfach mal alleine zum Pool lassen, sehr entspannend. Das Haus war sauber, mit ausreichend Handtüchern ausgestattet. Es hat einen schönen Balkon mit Seeblick. Supermärkte sind in 4 km Entfernung, Salo ca. 7 km oder 15 Minuten. Die kleinen Mängel waren zum einen die Liegen, die schon etwas gebraucht waren und daher z.B. der Schattenspender für das Gesicht nicht gehalten hat. Es fehlt auch ein Sonnenschirm, da es am Pool kaum Schatten gibt. WLAN / Internet funktionierte nur sporadisch, in der Wohnung so gut wie gar nicht, gelegentlich auf dem Balkon, am Besten am Pool. Daher auch nur 4 statt 5 Sterne. Insgesamt ist es aber empfehlenswert und sehr schön und wenn man vom WLAN absieht sind es 5 Sterne.

We have to specify some details: - wlan worked sporadically during your stay because of the bad weather (in different areas in Mezzane internet stopped working during thunderstorms) and a lot of users - sun chairs are still in very good conditions; the shadow dispensers for face may need to be fastened sometimes (also when they are new) - we usually do not leave sun umbrella in the house but if our guests request it to us, we can provide it without any problem as made in the past: we always try to satisfiy the desires of our guests!!!! Einen sehr schöne Woche.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt und ruhig. Die Nachbarn sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine sehr schöne Wohnung um den Gardasee zu entdecken. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und das untere Bad sehr eng, aber das macht der super Ausblick auf den See wieder weg. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und schnell zu erreichen bei Fragen. Zusätzliche Schwimmhilfen für unseren Kleinen haben sie auch gestellt. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus und sehr schöne Gartenanlage

Für uns war es ein wunderbarer Urlaub mit sehr hohem Erholungsfaktor. Die Lage und die Aussicht auf den Gardasee ist einfach traumhaft. Das Haus und die mediterrane Gartenanlage sind sehr gepflegt und der tolle Pool lädt zum schwimmen ein. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Vermieter verlief unkompliziert und war sehr herzlich. Das kleine Örtchen Mezzane liegt sehr ruhig in den Hügeln am Gardasee und bei einem Spaziergang genießt man immer wieder die grandiose Aussicht auf Salo und den Gardasee. Mit dem Auto erreicht man schnell einen Supermarkt, ein gutes Ristorante oder auch Salo selbst. Wir kommen gerne wieder..... Herzliche Grüße an Valentina und Roberto

Herrliche Aussicht und super Pool!

Wir haben zwei Wochen im „Blue House“ verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf den südlichen Gardasee. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnsiedlung am Hang. Trotzdem sind Salo und diverse Supermärkte schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der große und sehr gepflegte Pool wurde gerne von uns genutzt, wir haben einige Pool-Tage zwischen die Unternehmungen eingestreut. Sonnenliegen und sogar Luftmatratze für den Pool sind vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. WLAN hat ausgezeichnet funktioniert, deutsches Fernsehen ist auf dem Satellitenreceiver eingestellt. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter ist sehr gut und großzügig. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Schöne, ruhige und gepflegte Anlage

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 9&11 Jahre) waren Anfang Juli 2015 für 2 Wochen im "Blue House" und können uns den vorigen Kommentaren nur anschliessen. Alles wie auf den Bildern. Eine sehr gefplegte Anlage, der Pool wurde mindestens jeden zweiten 2 Tage gereinigt. In der Anlage (insgesamt 12 Wohneinheiten, davon werden 2 vermietet, der Rest wird von Italienern, Österreichern, Deutschen etc. als privates Ferienhaus genutzt) waren meist nur 4-5 Einheiten belegt, so dass es sehr ruhig war - unseren Kindern fast zu ruhig....Vorteil: wir hatten den großen Pool (ca. 15x5m Schwimmerbecken) fast für uns alleine. Große Supermärkte und Lidl sind in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Badestrände am Gardasee sind in ca. 15-30 Minuten (je nach Strand) mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Tagesausflüge nach Verona oder Venedig bieten sich an. Die Kommunikation mit Roberto und Valentina war sehr gut, schnell und hilfsbereit.

Bellevue

Sehr schönes und sauberes Ferienhaus mit klasse Blick auf den Gardasee. Die Lage etwa 5 km oberhalb des Sees bietet viel Ruhe abseits des Trubels am See. Bei der Anfahrt hat uns das Navi in die Irre geführt. Deshalb vorsichtshalber einen Kartenausdruck mitnehmen. Das Haus hat einen schönen Balkon, eine eigene Terrasse und man kann einen Pool nutzen, der fast 20 m lang ist. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und zehn schöne Urlaubstage verbracht.

Tolles Ferienhaus im Grünen

We (a family of 3 couples) have spent great days in this very nice house. It was very clean and good equiped. Additionally the whole resort is very neat. The landlord is very friendly. The location in the backcountry of Salò is very relaxing and Salò is only a few minutes away by car. We can recommand this housing at all events and are sure that we will come back. Thanks again to the landlord for the great time.

Tolles Ferienhaus in sehr schöner Anlage

Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr schön begrünten und ständig gepflegten Anlage inklusive einem tollen Pool. Ein abgetrennter Nichtschwimmerbereich ist auch ideal für kleinere Kinder zum Planschen. Da nur wenige Wohnungen zu der Anlage zählen, ist es angenehm ruhig. Für abgeschlossene und überdachte Parkmöglichkeiten direkt unterhalb der Anlage ist ausreichend gesorgt. Durch die schöne Lage in den bewaldeten Bergen über Saló kann man vom Balkon und Terasse aus einen tollen Ausblick und ganztägig die Sonne genießen. Die Einrichtung, Gartenmöbel und Geräte sind neu und funktionieren einwandfrei und waren alle wie beschrieben vorhanden. Die Wohnung selbst war bestens durch den Vermieter vorbereitet. Getränke, Obst und so manch nötige Bad- und Küchenutensilien und Infomaterial zum Urlaubsort standen zur Verfügung, selbst an Wasserspielzeug für die Kinder ist gedacht worden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war vor und auch während des Aufenthalts sehr angenehm. Wir hatten einen rund um gelungenen und sehr empfehlenswerten Aufenthalt => Fazit : 5 Sterne Plus

Ein Pool für uns "allein"

Wir haben eine Woche in der sehr gepflegten FeWO-Anlage verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man hat wirklich von der Terasse aus einen Blick auf den Gardasee. Alles (vom Backofen bis Gefrierschrank) hat funktioniert und die schöne Tradition, Getränke im Kühlschrank zu finden, wurde fortgesetzt. Salo ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und ein Ausflug mit dem Boot nach Sirmione von dort lohnt sich. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist die Wohnung geeignet. Den Pool (sehr gepflegt) hatten wir (Familie mit drei Kindern) fast für uns allein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekte Erholung im Frühling

Schon beim Eintritt in das Ferien-Reihenhaus genießt man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Gardasee. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern im Vorfeld war perfekt, wir hatten stets netten Kontakt. Alles ist genau so, wie in FeWo beschrieben. Zur Begrüßung standen frisches Obst, Wasser, Wein und Säfte bereit! Alles war sauber und sehr gepflegt (incl. der gesamten Anlage und dem Pool!); die Küche ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. In unmittelbarer Umgebung kann man seine Spaziergänge, Mountainbiketouren o. ä. starten. In wenigen Minuten ist man in den nächsten Orten zum Einkaufen bzw. direkt am See. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager) verbrachten entspannte und erholsame Ferientage in den grünen Hügeln über Salò.
