Great secluded stay in a brilliant lodge

The holiday was brilliant and the lodge only added to it. The lodge is even more lovely than the pictures and is exceptionally comfortable - sofas, beds surpassed expectations for holiday rentals. Our stay was further positively directed through the exemplary communication with property owners/managers. Bonnie was so helpful and really knowledgeable and had a very sunny disposition - each interaction was exceptionally positive. The lodge was great, and the garden was super dog-friendly. Very well enclosed and plenty of bushes for them to explore. Location was great, being roughly a 15 minute drive from Salcombe and also Kingsbridge. You can walk to the Sloop Inn, and you can also walk to other nearby beach restaurants and picturesque beaches - BeachHouse on South Milton Sands is certainly noteworthy with great staff and food.; South Milton Sands is also a first class beach and offers fantastic waters with accessible facilities. Hope Cove is but another 20-30min walk away from here, again with lots of restaurants and pubs. Overall the stay was excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again - thanks for having us!
