We had a very nice week in the villa. We did different trips every day but had nice mornings and evenings in the pool area. We used the cooking area for cooking and barbequing. The first days were quite cool, also inside the house. But the weather become better for each day.

Great home base in Tuscany

The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable.

Villa with great view

We where two families in total of 10 people. The villa has a remarkable view and pool area with outdoor kitchen. A table big enough for all of us to sit next to the poolarea and eat breakfast/dinner. The way up to Olive Tree Suites was a bit tricky with narrow turns. I would recommend to arrive if possible when its light outside. At least the first time. We had a great vacation.

We rented a villa in Lamporecchio – Vinci in week 32 via VRBO. Booking was easy. The house was clean and ready for 6 adults and 4 children. It’s located on a steep plot, making it unsuitable for ball games. The house is split into two apartments without a shared entrance; only half is rented, as the host lives in the other part. This should be clearly stated in the listing.The pool area was great and clean. The outdoor kitchen worked but was worn and needs upgrading. Sunbeds, chairs, and parasols were of poor quality and broke during use. The host replaced parasols when asked. A playground was listed but no longer exists—only an old swing set. Photos showed a terrace with a view, but it belongs to the host and isn’t accessible.Furniture and kitchenware were outdated. Kitchens need renovation, and several fridges didn’t work. Kitchen items were incomplete and inconsistent.Suggestions:– Clearly state host’s presence and rental scope.– Remove or update misleading photos.– Replace broken furniture, parasols, and appliances.– Provide complete, matching kitchenware.– Renovate both indoor and outdoor kitchens.– Restore or remove mention of the playground.Overall, the place was clean, and we had a good holiday.

TIRED and NEGLECTED

What a DISAPPOINTMENT. We seriously considered formally complaining & searching for a suitable alternative but this was prevented by the lack of reliable/sometimes non-existent Wifi, as well as the logistical nightmare of finding & making a last minute booking in the vicinity. After 30 hours travel from Australia we reluctantly decided to stay, the only saving grace being the pool & adjoining outdoor entertainment/kitchen but even there only the freezer section of the fridge worked. To sum up, the property is TIRED/NEGLECTED & the website omitting or misleading including:- The last 2 klm of access to the villa is via a steep, narrow, winding, rough road culminating in a tight parking area & turning circle- The “villa” building comprises 3 semi-detached self-contained dwellings under 1 roof. One dwelling (approx 1/3 of the building & grounds) is occupied by the undisclosed resident host - The website lead photo (balcony with the view of the Tuscan valley) is attached to the host’s private dwelling NOT accessible to guests - Air con is not available to all guest areas but limited to 2 of 4 brms in the main guest dwelling & kitchen in a separate semi-detached guest dwelling. Instead pedestal fans only are available - no insect screens on windows or doors- All bed mattresses are decades old “lumpy” or sagging inner-spring or thin foam & pillows old thin & saggy- 2 small TV’s don’t work.- After a week, host provided a replacement Wifi modem with limited range

This is a serious complaint and I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused. The main point was the lack of internet, and as you know, when I went to see the local internet provider, they said that during the recent storm a falling tree damaged the main internet cable. This was unfortunate and totally out of our control. I must also address your other complaints. The drive to the villa is a typical Tuscan country lane in the midst of olive groves. It might be something you did not like but most guests treasure its beauty. I live in a completely separate part of the building and the layout of the property with its plans are made available at the time of booking. When I am on site, at the time the guests are away or at night, I do the daily chores, such as checking the pool water, disposing of the garbage, watering the gardens. I am also available for anything that the guests might request. The day that you left I found out about one of the four refrigerators partially not working and that has been immediately replaced with a new one. It would have been replaced earlier should you have reported its malfunctioning. I always promptly deal with any request from the guests, and my mission is to make everyone happy. That's what makes me happy!

Vi var 3 generationer bestående af 10 personer i alt. Tolles Haus, toller Pool!

Wir waren drei ganze Wochen in Lamporecchio und haben es sehr genossen. Nach der etwas beschwerlichen Auffahrt kommt man in ein tolles Haus und ein sehr großes Grundstück mit vielen alten Olivenbäumen. Die Aussicht ist am besten von der dritten Ebene, auf der sich der tolle Pool, ein großer überdachter Essbereich, Liegen und die wunderbare Außenküche befinden. Der Pool ist riesig, es führt eine breite bequeme Treppe hinein und es gibt ein extra Kinderplanschbecken. Auf der zweiten Ebene gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit drei Betten (mit mobilem Klimagerät), einem Bad und eine große Küche mit Sofa und Tisch und eine Terrasse. Hier wie auch auf allen anderen Etagen gibt es hervorragende Kühlschränke. Auf der untersten Ebene steht der Teil des Hauses mit den meisten Zimmern. Im Erdgeschoss ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad sowie ein Zimmer mit vier Schlafplätzen (zwei und zwei getrennt durch einen Vorhang und drei Stufen), ebenfalls mit eigenem Bad und Küche. Im oberen Stockwerk liegt ein Kinderzimmer für zwei sowie ein weiteres Doppelzimmer. Diese beiden Zimmer teilen sich ein Bad. Im oberen Stock gibt es keine Klimaanlage, allerdings kann man im Doppelzimmer nachts querlüften. Das Kinderzimmer ist nur schwer lüftbar und bei hohen Temperaturen zu warm. Dafür sind die Zimmer in der unteren Etage mit sehr guten, modernen Klimaanlagen ausgestattet, so dass wir mit unseren Kindern am Ende in dem Viererzimmer geschlafen und auf das Kinderzimmer verzichtet haben. Für alle nicht klimatisierten Bereiche stehen Ventilatoren bereit. Unten gibt es noch ein großes Esszimmer, die Sauna und den Sportraum. Die Sauna hat eine sehr schöne große Dusche, die anderen Bäder sind eher klein. In der gesamten Anlage herrscht ein sehr guter Wasserdruck. Mücken gibt es hier leider viele, elektrische Mückenstecker werden gestellt. Die Zimmer, Bäder und Terrassen werden wöchentlich gereinigt und auch die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Eine Waschmaschine für die eigene Wäsche ist vorhanden, ebenso Bügeleisen und Fön sowie Badetücher am Pool. Wichtig: Das Gelände ist nicht geeignet für Menschen mit Fuß- oder Knieproblemen, alle drei Ebenen sind mit einem recht steilen Weg verbunden. Für Internet-Junkies wie uns: Wlan gibt es nicht im Haus, wir erhielten aber als Ersatz einen stationären LTE-Router. Die Besitzerin Natalia lebt unterhalb des unteren Hauses auf dem Grundstück – sie ist sehr diskret und in jeder Beziehung hilfreich. Jedes kleine Problem wurde umgehend gelöst, vielen Dank dafür!

Incantevole villa con piscina vita spettacolare

La casa è davvero bellissima e molto grande, noi eravamo in 8 ma ci stanno comodamente 10 o 12 persone. Io ho soggiornato con mia moglie e mio figlio di 1 mese in una parte della casa separata con tutti i comfort: cucina, camera da letto, sala e terrazzo ampio molto comodo per addormentare il pupo nel passeggino. Ci sono 3 cucine di cui una a ridosso della piscina con un super camino dove abbiamo grigliato con grande soddisfazione. Ci sono 3 grandi frigoriferi davvero ottimi per quando si è in tanti e fantastici per fare il ghiaccio. Siamo stati praticamente sempre nella zona piscina immersi negli ulivi e con una vista mozzafiato sulla Toscana. La zona cucina è vicina alla piscina ed ha un'ottima copertura che mi ha permesso di stare all'aperto anche con il neonato. L'accoglienza e la cortesia dei proprietari è stata una chicca in più che ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. La casa ha anche una sauna che ci ha permesso di rilassarci ancor di più.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir waren mit 11 Freund:innen in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind fantastisch. Es waren genug Betten für alle da und die Vermieterin war wirklich toll. Sehr hilfsbereit wenn wir fragen hatten und sonst wirklich unauffällig. Ich kann nur jedem und jeder empfehlen hier Urlaub zu machen. Egal ob man einfach relaxen will oder ein bisschen mit den Freund:innen feiern mag. An die Auf- bzw. Abfahrt muss man sich etwas gewöhnen, aber das sollte kein Problem darstellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My name is Natalia, and I am a professional tour guide. I chose to live in this beautiful part of Tuscany near Vinci because of the rolling hills, historic villages, and authentic charm. At the same time we are within easy reach ofsome of Tuscany's most important Renaissance towns.
I have a dep love for Italian culture, local traditions, and good organic food - from olive oil to wine - and I am always happy to share my favourite places and recommendations with my guests.
I am proud to welcome guests from all over the world and to help them experience Tuscany in a more personal and authentic way.
I live in a completely separte part of the property, so guests can enjoy full privacy. At the same time, I am always available if needed - whether for local tips, restaurant bookings, or any assistance during your stay.
