Elegant rural house immersed in the green Tuscany hills among olive trees

As soon as you arrive you can already breathe the flavour of the grass, flowers, trees, Mediterranean vegetation. You are in the private garden (300mq) of the house; just a few steps, ahead 50m, there is the swimming pool (5m x 10m) with sun terrace equipped (parasols, sunbeds, gazebo) ideal place where the guests can relax and appreciate the beautiful view surrounding you. In front of the villa, there is a nice patio where you can enjoy your meals. The House (200sq m) has two floors. When you enter the front door, you are welcomed by a cosy kitchen, continuing we arrive into a comfortable living room. It has a panoramic arched glass door that opens out onto the front patio. A door in the living room opens into living/dining room with kitchen corner, a fireplace and double sofa bed. A glass door in this room opens onto a paved furnished side terrace with tables, chairs and barbecue.

Gorgeous Villa

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable accommodations and lovely clean pool. Gorgeous property with fragrant flowers everywhere . Giulio helped us hire a chef and we had a lovely outdoor traditional dinner with multiple courses for 50 euros each. Would definitely stay here again .

Amazing Tuscan Villa

Our group of 6 had an amazing experience at this beautiful villa. We wish we had more time to spend there as the outside had stunning mountain views and the inside was filled with old world charm. The pool was an added bonus. The hosts were good to deal with and helped us with a delicious dinner and chef reservation. We would highly recommend. Hope to be back soon.

Really nice and cozy Villa sorrounded by a marvellous environment in the hearth of Tuscany. The Villa is 5/10mins by car from Pescia, hence isolated in the incredibile nature of this place: perfect to spend some time with your friends or family with all the privacy you may need. Also pool and bbq are great. The owners were really flexible in accomodating a late check-in and let us spend a couple of extra hours to relax in the pool before leaving. Highly recommended!

Beyond wonderful

The Pescia house/property is the seventh Home Away/VRBO property we have rented in Italy over the last 15 years, and it was the best experience ever. The house is comfortably appointed, and the olive tree groves, lawns, and gardens are gorgeously designed and maintained. Everyone loved the pool and just "being" in that environment. The entire Spadoni family works together to ensure a memorable experience. They are quick to act on anything required and always ready with suggestions, answers, and solutions—available but never invasive. The house is about 800 feet above sea level in the hills above Pescia, and it was always calm and breezy. We were there all of June, and our windows remained open throughout. Its location made day trips to Florence, Lucca, and Pisa easy. We also made overnight trips to Milan and Rome and were always happy to return "home" to Pescia. Truly wonderful!

Beautiful typical tuscan house

The house was more than we expected. Every room, including the bathrooms, was very clean. The kitchen offers more kitchen supplies than usual. The whole house was lovingly decorated and fresh flowers were planted everywhere in the garden. You can tell, that the owner is very passionate about renting this house. The remote location offers a great place to relax, but with a car it takes only 10 minutes down the winding mountain road into the city. But as we have read in other reviews, the house was not easy to find at first. Giving the coordinates, or a more detailed description after booking might be a way to solve the problem in the future. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and would book and recommend it again at any time.

Wünderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir durften mit 11 Personen inkl. Kinder 14 Tage in diesem herrlichen Anwesen verbringen. Die Lage, das Haus, der Garten mit Pool und alles was dazu gehört ist wie beschrieben oder auf den Bildern und zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit Giulio und seinem Vater sowie der Check In und Check Out war ohne Probleme. Alles in allem ein für uns perfektes Haus. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Tolles Objekt

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem traumhaften Anwesen verbringen dürfen. Wir sind mit drei Familien und zwei Hunden angereist, vor dem Haus hat es drei Parkplätze. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank für alles ! Das Haus ist wahnsinnig gepflegt, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt und rundet das Haus perfekt ab. Die Dusche am Pool verfügt sogar über Warmwasser. Hinter dem Pool ist ein Hügel mit Olivenbäumen in denen zwei Hängematten hängen. Der komplette Garten ist wunderschön und gepflegt. Alle Geräte haben funktioniert und waren sauber und gepflegt ! Wir kommen sicher wieder :-)

Wunderschönes Schmuckstück

Eine tolle Anlage, mit Essgelegenheit im Garten. Es gab einen großen Pool auf dem Grundstück. Mitten in der Natur. Es gab auch zwei Hängematten zwischen mehreren Olivenbäumen. Vermieter war sehr sympathisch und unkompliziert. Unterkunft können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft und tolle Anlage

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Top gepflegtes Haus, Pool und Garten mitten im Wald. Mit Navi leicht zu finden. Wir waren mit 7 Erwachsenen, 4 Kleinkindern und 2 Hunden dort. Wir hatten für alle genügend Platz. Platz für 3 Autos vorhanden. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Tolle Ferienwoche

Wir haben eine Woche zu acht im Haus verbracht und waren total begeistert. Das Haus und der Garten sind super gepflegt. Der Pool und die Sitzplätze im Schatten sind große Klasse. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit Giulio war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Bei Fragen kamen die Antworten umgehend.

Top Unterkunft in wunderschöner und ruhiger Lage

Wir waren im Juli 2022 mit 3 Familien und Kindern in allen Altersklassen für 14 Tage vor Ort. Das Haus ist super für größere Gruppen geeignet und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Terrasse draußen ist wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf die Berge und natürlichem Schatten von einem großen Baum. Der Poolbereich ist abgetrennt vom Haus und Terrassenbereich und sehr sauber. Das ganze Grundstück ist super gepflegt und mit vielen Pflanzen ausgestattet. Der Pool ist richtig groß und echt top zum Abkühlen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig in den Bergen gelegen. Wer Ortsnähe fußläufig möchte, der ist ggf. woanders bessert aufgehoben. Zum Supermarkt dauert es mit dem Auto 10 Minuten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen und können die Location uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful

Casa Santoveccio was like being on a movie set in Tuscany. Absolutely beautiful in every way. The house and pool were very clean and we loved the antique furniture. We had the chef come on our last night to prepare dinner and the meal was amazing. Guilio and Fausto were very responsive in their communication and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return someday.

Tolles Haus in der Toskana

Wir waren 10 Personen und hatten eine super Woche in dem wirklich schönen Haus, alles war wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Besitzer Giulio war super nett und Hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist recht groß. Einzig das Objekt am Anfang zu finden ist recht knifflig, aber machbar. Wir werden wenn wir können auf jeden fall wiederkommen.

Lovely house in a great area

Casa Santovecchio is a lovely character house perfect for 10 people, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus a toilet. The pool has lovely 360 degree view of surrounding hills, plus there is an upper lawn with hammock in the olive trees, the outside dining table for 10 people is always shaded. The valley it is located in is known as 'Switzerland in Pescia' and there are 10 hillside villages along the valley. We had a lovely 2 week stay in August 2019

Nice and calm house in the Country side

Clean and nice located house in the country side with a lot of green around. The house is up in the hills but still you can reach Pescia by car in less than 15 min. The owner are very friendly and helpful.

Magnifique maison avec piscine

Propriété confortable, agreable, avec des équipements de qualité conforme à la description et une très belle piscine avec transat .Tout ceci dans un environnement calme associé à un très beau paysage. La proximité de villes avec un riche patrimoine est aussi un atout. Nous avons passés de très belles vacances à la casa santovecchio

La maison comme on l'imaginait

Nous avons été accueillis très gentiment, la maison était impeccable. Il y a tout pour cuisiner et se sentir comme dans une maison de famille. La piscine est très belle et l'environnement très calme (sous réserve que les occupants de la maison voisine soient calmes, ce qui fut notre cas). Séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes.

Beautiful hillside villa with fabulous pool

This villa was perfect for our group of eight. The rooms are pretty & comfortable. There is ample equipment for catering & eating outside, including a barbecue. We made great use of the pool which is set in a pretty garden & was surrounded by flowering jasmine. There are shady spots to sit beneath the olive trees & even a hammock. Paradise! Casa Santovecchio is set on the hillside in a tranquil spot with lovely views. However, it's only a short drive from Pescia for stocking up on provisions (there are a few supermarkets with long opening hours for those who arrive late). Road & train access from Pescia is great for trips to Florence, Lucca etc. We had a fantastic holiday here!
