We had a brilliant stay for my hen do! Couldn't have asked for a better space to accommodate all of the guests. The hot tub was a great bonus. Can't wait to stay again!
A lovely house set in beautiful grounds. Very clean and presentable. Plenty of space in the house for a large group. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely go again.
This property filled all our requirements. We stayed for New Year’s Eve, plenty of space around the property the hot tub was lovely and the 2 bottles of Prosecco left in the fridge for us was a nice touch. Thank you for the stay. We have recommended. This property to friends, family and guys timers at the salon I work in. And will be back

A family Xmas
Booking experience with vrbo poor
Very frustrating and unhelpful
Owner very helpful in sorting out several problems during our stay
Only 1 double / en-suite although lots of toilet/shower facilities The description was misleading
Xmas decorations and extra touches were appreciated Thank you
Exterior Xmas lights were lovely
Hot tub a favourite Ample towels
Games room very lacking Not enough space to play pool
Kitchen very well equipped but it would help if cupboards were labelled so that it was easier to find things
A small investment in matching crockery would upgrade to a less institutional feel
Electric socket needed near to a mirror in bedrooms
Several rooms available for quiet time out
We had a lovely Xmas break
Well stocked with equipment, comfortable, warm. Hot tub great success especially for the children in group. Footpaths near by. Ideal for large family groups
Lovely place, great rooms and lots of special touches which made our stay very special.
The WiFi was not the best but didn’t spoil our stay.
Will definitely book to go again, would be great for Christmas or new year
Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful property with plenty of space. We were a large group so it suited us perfectly. Robes provided for each guest to use the hot tub.
The garden had a play area for the children but this was not fenced off as we expected as this joined to the front of the property where cars would be parked.
Only downside was that we were under the impression that we had complete undisturbed access to the grounds and no other guests would be on site. There were two other small properties both of which had other guests in. These are fenced off and they weren’t any problem but we weren’t aware of this upon booking and as a result other guests could access the gardens we were using and therefore we could not leave the children to play without being supervised.
Very accommodating stay and the house is beautifully decorated throughout. The host very kindly even put banners up for us and brought gifts for guests that had birthday’s whilst we were there. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant communication everything was clear and no concerns .Brilliant
Clean ,spacious well maintained great area with good security .
Management amaizing well prepared when we arrived gave us a very good and well thought arrival present .Thank you ever so much
We had a lovely stay at Bedrock lodge. The communication beforehand was very helpful. The welcome gift and banners were very kind. There were some difficulties with the property but they were resolved quickly.

We booked the lodge on the basis it was just for us then got told there was another group of 4 ppl opposite us. Which actually turned out to be 7 lads on a bender. A tree fell on my car and dented the bonnet. I called the owner regarding the tree and when he came he mentioned the fact he forgot to tell us about the possibility of tree falling. I would of expected the owner to offer a small goodwill to fix the car but he didn't even offer anything. Hoover was not done on the stairs and had spider webs and leaves. The light in the shower was not working. On a last day a electrician came to fix it who walked into the house without a mask. Spiders in every room. Looked like it had not been dusted for months yet a deep clean was done before we arrived. I must of removed about 30 spiders on my first night. You expect a couple being in the country side but this was ridiculous. Disappointed with the overall experience. Owner didn't even apologise for the damaged caused to our car which I will have to pocket out. The hot tub was good.

Also the lads in the Cabana were not on a bender & there was only four of them. Yes they were enjoying themselves that’s what most people do when they go away! My residents did not complain of any noise & my husband was on site all day every day & remarked how nice & friendly they were!
We had a great weekend, and there was plenty of space to escape the worse weather inside the house and in the hot tub lean-to area. The garden was different to pictured, as a new cabin is being built over one of the sections, and we were nearby to another rental but thankfully no noise complaints in either direction and we could all get on with our separate holidays! Had such a great time, would definitely recommend!
We stayed for the weekend for a hen party it was perfect loads of space and the rooms were all lovely . It was close to Bristol which is where we spent a lot of our time too. The owners were very quick with any questions I had and the little added touches to the house was lovely and just added to the weekend for us. Would highly recommend and hopefully will stay again
The property was perfect for a large family party. Everything was as described in the listing. The owners went out of their way to make everything perfect and provided personal touches that were much appreciated by all. Thank you

House was perfect for the weekend away we had a Bristol! Angie & John were great - answered all my questiond before our arrival and were very helpful with taxi companies etc. There was even a little surprise when we arrived at the house for us all and one for our bride to be which was the icing on the cake. All in all the house made our weekend great and was just what we needed for my best friends weekend so thank you both!
The property was
Ideal for our family gathering. The little touches left by Angie and John were really thoughtful and much appreciated. The children loved playing outside in complete safety. The hot tub was lovely. Everything about Bedrock Lodge was great and we had a fabulous weekend.
If you need a place in Bristol this is the place to book!!!
What an absolute gem of a property! Honestly can't say thank you enough, it was absolutely perfect for our needs and the gift left for the hen and prosecco were so very thoughtful and much appreciated. Will be suggesting this place to anyone I know needing a fabulous place to stay in Bristol. Thanks!

Our trip to Bedrock Lodge was made all the more special by Jon and Angie's extra touches and flexibility. The number of bedrooms allowed for everyone to have their own space and the living room / dining room meant everyone could congregate in one place. We particularly liked the sun loungers and table out in the garden and were able to make good use of both the bot tub and the BBQ with the great weather we were lucky enough to experience.
A lovely property in a peaceful location that was nice and central for family to meet up at.
Thanks! Helen and family
