Spindrifts is a much loved holiday home just steps away from stunning Harlyn Bay beach and only 3 miles from the beautiful harbour of Padstow. Renovated and extended in 2020, the house comfortably offers accommodation for 8+ people with a vast, first floor living room offering views of the sea and surrounding countryside from its balcony. There is also a large rear garden and front garden with seating areas. The 4 bedroom accommodation also comes with a well equipped kitchen, dining room, TV and fast fibre broadband. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please note, in high season we accept reservations from Sunday - Sunday.

Fantastic location and property

The house is perfect for us - 6 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 8, plus a dog! The living area upstairs is open and comfortable and the dining space downstairs is perfectly situated just outside the kitchen. Location-wise this appears to be a newly developed area with great amenities for the cottages in this development and also the beach only a minute’s walk away. We’d love to make this a regular trip!!

Fantastic location, and just a stones throw from the beach and 5 min drive to Padstow. Wonderful property, with everything you need. Very spacious, modern and clean. Excellent owner communications in advance, ensuring we were armed with everything we needed. We would absolutely go back again.

Fabulous Easter weekend!

Spindrifts was the perfect home away from home for the long Easter weekend. Just a very short walk to the most amazing beach. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need from dog bowls to the great view from the upper balcony! Sarah was so kind on email and even though the weather was changeable it didn’t diminish our relaxing weekend! We will be back again soon!

Fantastic property in an ideal location

We had an amazing, fun-packed holiday week at this property. The facilities are great, ideal for two families with children (we had teenage boys in both families), particularly as it is such a short walk to the beach. The upstairs living room area is a huge space which is ideal for large families after a long day at the beach. Local bars at the beach also serve good food, and a short walk to good restaurants. The communications with Sarah, the host, were excellent - very prompt and friendly replies. Highly recommended.

Great holiday home and location

Our Family were celebrating Mother enlaws milestone birthday. We want something close to a beach and /or coastal path. Great home with loads to offer- from bedrooms to a large lounge with many sofas! Also loads of stuff for the beach like wet suits, surfboards, beach chairs, windbreaker etc... Fab location 2 minutes walk and you are on the beach! Sea views from the balcony- perfect for morning coffee! We will be back again! Highly recommend hiring this home!

Why they chose this property

This property has been enjoyed by our family for over 20 years. Originally a bungalow, in 2020 the house underwent extensive renovation and refurbishment and an additional floor was added to create a spacious living room with sweeping views and a master ensuite bedroom upstairs. Many happy times have been had here and we are sure you will enjoy everything Harlyn Bay & Padstow has to offer too.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! Spindrifts is a short stroll away from the beach and the world renowned Harlyn Surf School. It’s a short drive for the shopping & restaurants in Padstow (or catch the ferry to Rock from there too) or a couple of minutes to the village of St Merryn and walking distance to the newly opened restaurant The Pig at Harlyn Bay. Spindrifts is perfectly located to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. With comfortable accommodation, fast WiFi, TV, a games and book library and a front and rear garden for you to enjoy, you too will be making some happy memories!
