Perfect location in Kinsale

The house is in a perfect location. You can see the town from the back windows and just a quick trip does the steps gets you to the center of town.

Storybook Harbor Village

A beautiful setting. Kind and wonderful people. Excellent local music and craiq at Dalton 's Bar. Excellent walk to Charles Fort on harbor. Delicious food and ice cream. Would repeat visit!!

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs. Beautiful, extremely clean, and very handy to town. If we ever get back to the area we will definitely stay there again! I highly recommend the Kinsale 4 Center.

Best stay in Ireland!

Everything was as pictured, very clean and new. Bathrooms were updated and spacious. Washer and dryer, and parking, was a huge plus! We were right in town, with a quick walk down some stairs to get to everything. Ruth was very kind and checked in with us the night before and during our stay. This unit made our stay even better. Pick this one!

Loved Kinsale, hard time driving!

The unit was delightful and perfect for our stay. I don't recall if the listing describes how tight the parking is and how narrow the road is coming up to the property. Which, I would definitely warn people of if they are driving themselves there. Other than that, communication was good, view from top floor is incredible to the sea and the village. You can walk to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and to grab things from the grocery store, as well.

Great place

The place is awesome. Everything we wanted. Perfect location. Check-in was somewhat arduous as they would not give me the address and wanted me to call Ruth when I got to town. Had trouble getting call to go thru. Would be much easier to just give me the address and use a lockbox on the outside. Other that that, it was perfect.

Great location!

A great property in a great location! We loved sitting on the patio and looking out over kinsale while it rained in the evening. The house is pristine and has everything you need for a lovely stay in Kinsale. The only thing to note is that parking is extremely confusing. Spaces are not marked and the tenant in the property next door was parked such that we could not fit our car into our designated space. We had to find other places to park, none of which were marked and were reprimanded by a (understandably) frustrated neighbor after our first attempt as we were parked in her spot. Also note that there is no air conditioning. If the weather is warm you’ll want to keep the windows open for fresh air. The house became quite warm during the day. Thank you to Ruth for your exceptional hospitality!

Place looks and feels brand new. Beds are a bit firm. Place was spotless and has everything you need. Great views from the sunroom or courtyard. Had plenty of space. Nice washer and dryer. Super quiet dishwasher. Cup board had some basic needed items to cook with. The place is exactly what the pictures are. There is parking in front of it. We had to park away from it the other car didn’t leave us enough space and we had a large vehicle. Once you walk up the big set of stairs outside it’s just to the right. The roads in Kinsale are very narrow. We walk everywhere. So it was convenient to be next to the stairs. The place was great. Better than great.

Not great

Photos on the listing were accurate. Owner is reachable via phone, but check-in/arrival instructions were murky at best. Upon arrival we notified the owner the upstairs heaters were not working, to which her response was that no one had told her and she’d have someone come look at it. No one ever did. She also has the heat and water heater set on a timer in the utility closet. We had absolutely no hot water on the morning of departure and were unable to shower before leaving. Ultimately, the location was very good and the property served its purpose for my family and I for a short stay in Kinsale (with the exception of the morning of departure), though I don’t think I would return.
