Ouesburn with it surrounding areas of Heaton and Jesmond are really up-and-coming areas within Newcastle upon Tyne. There is an enormous choice of independent cafés, restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. With local universities and hospitals are short commute away.
The city centre is also a stones throw away from the property and available to you on foot or within a five minute taxi journey.
Literally meters away is City Park with a running track and area for outdoor exercise, which is one of the largest city centre parks in the area. Heaton and Armstrong Park are also 300m away.
Newcastle is a small city and easy to get around in a car with ample parking provided at the accommodation. I would suggest this is the best way to visit the coast, city centre and surrounding areas. The matter is also a local underground system that operates around the city and is incredibly close to the accommodation.
As the apartment is so centrally located, you could easily bike or walk from the apartment into the city centre area who's been to visit local shops and restaurants.

We noticed on arrival a very bad smell in the kitchen - though the kitchen was not visibly dirty. We tried but did not manage to locate the source of the smell - but it put us off from cooking at the property.
I did contact the property manager about this when we left.
The rooms and accommodation were spacious and perfect for our stay visiting family. There was quite a lot of early morning foot fall noise from
Above which woke everyone. And I dont think it was obvious from the booking site that we would not be able to make any noise at the property. - as was in a Family residential building with little sound proofing. We weren’t wanting to party at the property so this was fine - but would of been good to know before.
