Casa do Moinho (Private Garden and Sea View)

Connected to an element of the Azores Cultural Heritage, the Pico Vermelho Mill, this cozy space that was once the residence of the village miller, has a double bedroom equipped with closet and drawers, a living room with TV, WiFi, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen. Outside there is beautiful garden, with sea view, and barbecue area. Amazing for a couple escape.

Stunning stay

The location of this place is unbelievable, we ate breakfast outside in the garden with an incredible view of the ocean! The windmill is iconic, very cool place to stay. The inside is cozy and was all that we needed, we had no complaints.

The house is perfect for two with vast views out to the Atlantic. You do need a car but there is so much in a short drive. We were here for 5 nights after spending two in Ponta Delgada and loved the garden. I love the quirkiness of the house and the excellent use of space. The bedroom is nice and spacious and everything about it feels authentic and cosy. There is also a beautifully friendly cat that frequents the garden and is partial to a cuddle! Sao Miguel is wonderful, we can't wait to return!

Wunderschön gelegene Unterkunft in einem kleinen Dorf an der Nordwestküste mit Blick aufs Meer. Klein, aber für 2 Personen zum Schlafen ausreichend. Bad und Küche sehr klein, zum Kochen nicht wirklich geeignet, aber um Frühstück zu machen ausreichend. Vorsicht für große Menschen, Balken mitten in der Küche (aua). Bad und Dusche sehr eng aber machbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Kleiner Supermarkt im Dorf wo man, wenn man nicht zu spät kommt, auch Brot/Brötchen bekommt, ansonsten ist der sehr gut sortierte Continente in Capelas die erste Wahl. Für Ausflüge auf die ganze Insel eher ungünstig gelegen. Abenteuerliche Straßen. Aber insgesamt das was wir erwartet hatten. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig.
