The property is clean, enjoyable, and in a relaxing residential neighbor. Many restaurants, attractions, and groceries are very nearby. Easy to get around.
This property provided an excellent home-base for our family vacation to San Diego. It was clean, comfortable, had great views and was conveniently located (most of our destinations were a quick 15/20 minute drive) and the neighborhood was quite.
Check in/out was easy and host was very responsive to questions. Great stay, we'd love to come back someday!

Uncomfortable stay
Very uncomfortable stay with voyeriusm and over the top micromanagement. Property manager was invasive, watched our every move through cameras, and was hyper-critical of requests or questions regarding AC and construction noise across the street through correspondence. The beds were awful and uncomfortable. I have never left a review like this, I have been an avid VRBO renter for over 10 years, and this was my worst experience. I left the property early due to the overall experience of the stay. There was no bathroom on the main floor and stairs everywhere throughout the house. No AC was a bummer, but it is an old house so it comes with the territory. I would not recommend this property whatsoever, especially at the price point.

As stated clearly in our listing, we have only 1 security camera recording the outside walkway to the front door. There are no cameras in the house or backyard. This guest gave his door code to strangers that used the house when he wasn't there, which is against our policy. Unfortunately this guest made complaints about things out of our control (ie. weather in 70's was too warm for him, neighborhood construction) to get money back and wrote a retaliatory review since we did not provide a refund.
The listing dose not do the property justice
Amazing views ,extremely helpful to my family and fantastic location if looking to enjoy San Diego or travel north
We all looking to come back again.
Our family had a wonderful time visiting beautiful San Diego and this house was in the perfect location, so close to everything ! The house itself is gorgeous with a well appointed kitchen and the garden and pool area were our favorite. Loads of hummingbirds and butterflies, can’t wait to visit again!
We just wrapped up our stay and loved the house. It’s very clean, a nice layout for a family, and the kiddos loved the pool! Surprisingly quiet neighborhood with unbeatable views of Coronado Bay.
The house was beautiful we had everything we needed such as beach towels a well stocked kitchen and an awesome pool for the kids. The home is in a great location it’s centrally located and easy access to many things in the San Diego area. The check in process was very simple and the communication was excellent from reserving to checking out we will certainly be back!

Wonderful, Happy Place to Launch Our SD Adventures!
Everything about the house and location were outstanding! Location is ideal for any and all Mission Bay and SD activities. The view is stunning. Breeze is intoxicating and it was a first class experience in every way. I love it when the property is set up so we can get codes in advance and just show up. That was the case here. The ad and description don’t do the house and property justice in my opinion. The renovation was outstanding. It has all the original charm while still feeling new and all upgraded. The Pool was an oasis of solitude, surrounded by beautiful planting’s, flowers and butterflies! We planned an amazing amount of activities and ALL were within a short drive or walk from the house. We have been using VRBO for over a decade an this was in the op properties of all time. We will be back!!!

This property has been in our family for over 60 years, and has been remodeled with family fun and relaxation in mind. As a San Diego native but living in the San Francisco Bay Area, we spend our vacations in this home ourselves to visit family and friends. I’m a Landscape Architect and love gardening and Paul is a Mechanical Engineer and can fix just about anything. We have one young daughter who travels with us.
Why they chose this property
-When sending over an inquiry please inform us on who will be staying in our home and the purpose of your trip. We require prior notification of any visitors during your stay.
This home is appropriate for families who enjoy a safe, quiet neighborhood. This home is not suitable for gatherings that will generate a lot of noise. This is a quiet neighborhood with a low tolerance to noise disturbances.
Some features of our home: - 2 Smart TVs with apps for streaming; no cable, but some local tv channels - Filtered water - All of the windows open except for the ones behind the living room sofa and the window above the kitchen bench seat does not stay open. -There is no air conditioning, but you can find fans in the closets of each bedroom (the small room does not have a closet, so the fan and luggage rack are in the guest room closet, just across the hallway). - The bathrooms have overhead heaters that warms things up very quickly; they have timers so they will turn off automatically. - The bathroom vent fans have humidity sensors, so they sometimes turn on or off on their own. You can also turn them on or off manually. - You can turn on and change the colors of the pool LED lights using the white control box mounted on the wall outside the pool equipment enclosure by the pool. (Please do not modify the pool controls inside the equipment enclosure.) Other general rules: -No pets allowed at any time. -No smoking of any kind inside or outside -No Parties and events allowed - we do allow mellow gatherings -No glass is allowed near the pool area - -Please respect our neighbors by parking in front of the house, if available. The garage is also available for your use (large vehicles, such as SUVs, will not fit in the garage and will exceed the weight of the garage floor). -Please do not attempt to use the gas fireplace; it is not functional and gas has been turned off to this feature. - Quiet hours are 8pm Sunday - Thursday and 10pm Friday - Saturday.
