Worms in the water and visible black mold make this place an extreme health and saftey hazzard. We arrived at night. The place asppears to be located in the Chinatown area. It looked ok and we were able to get in after first taking a taxi to the place where you get keys and then a taxi to the unit. My wife and 6 year old daughter wanted to take a bath after 20 hours of travel. After filling the tub and getting in. they noticed worms and worm larva in the water. There was no mistaking it. We tooks several pictures. The outside of the tub was also covered with black mold, of which we also have pictures. In the morning, we asked the host to cancel our reservation because the uniit was a health and safety hazard. The owner offered to move us to a smaller adjacent unit in the same building with the same plumbing, so we declined because it would have the same water. Having no other poption at this point (a busy summer vacation time), we were forced to get a much more expensive hotel. All the hotels were fully booked because of events happening in the city. We asked the host for a refund and they declined, saying they needed to time to address the problems. We were unwilling and able to wait as it took the host several days to admit there were "organisms" in the water and to then offer a higher unit in the building, after we had already paid a lot for a hotel for our 2 week stay in Valencia. The host never refunded any of our money, and never even addressed the mold issue.
