Hello, My name is Julian. Im the owner, gardener, decorater, fixer of this lovely property. Ive lived here for many years now and love what this area has to offer.
Why they chose this property
This larger one bed barn conversion is very popular with our guests. Everyone loves the natural light, the warm log burner, the terrace opening out onto the wild garden’s abundant with wildlife and the large super-king bed. The kitchen is so easy to k ock up something delicious with all the mod cons. And if a good wifi connection is needed, either for work or just relaxing, ours is plenty fast enough for everyones needs.
What makes this property unique
Location location location. Set in the heart of the Forest of Arden, yet moments from all the fascinating places to visit, such as stratford upon avon, warwick castle or shopping at Leamington Spa. Birmingham too is only a short hop on the local train ( Henley in Arden ) or an easy 25 minute drive. We have a cluster of National Trust properties within 5 to 15 minutes drive too, and many guests specifically stay here with us for exactly this reason. But the real star is the local countryside. The cottages are slap bang next to some delightful footpaths, including the national “Arden Way “ trail. The surrounding fields are unique in that they are in a green belt, a conservation zone and due to the history of once being a forest, the poor soil has saved the patchwork of traditional hedgerows and coppices. Large pockets of land lay fallow, allowing for wildlife and nirds in particular flourish. Birdsong here is a special wonder, so bring an alarm clock.
