As well as the cottage we also have two log cabins available for self-catering holidays on the grounds of Ardoch Lodge, which includes a Victorian walled garden, a water meadow, and lots of grass paths to roam amongst the trees and wildflowers. The river Balvaig forms one of the boundaries which we have boating and fishing rights for.
Wildlife abounds here with red squirrels visiting the bird tables, deer roam through the grounds with occasional visits from foxes and pine martens. Bird life flourishes with buzzards, ravens, jays and great spotted woodpeckers to name just a few.
The south facing views are spectacular with the nearby hills, swathed in forest, seen against a background of the more distant and rugged peaks of Ardnadave and Ben Vane.
