Banchi Castello - Castel Sant'Angelo

Delightful apartment a few steps from Castel Sant'Angelo located on the first floor without lift of an ancient building and has been recently restored.



The apartment consists of a double living room divided into a sitting area with a double sofa bed (150x190) and a dining area, a kitchen, two bedrooms both with private bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed (180x200) and the second bedroom is smaller with a double bed (150x200).



The apartment is very comfortable and bright and can comfortably accommodate 4 people up to a maximum of 6 people (70 m²)



The apartment has internet access via WiFi, washing machine and air conditioning \ heating and SmartTV. The kitchen is complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove and is equipped for cooking and eating.

We provide sheets and towels for all guests with the possibility of cleaning with linen change.



The apartment is very comfortable. Its location is in the heart of historic and allows you to explore on foot many tourist attractions.

The apartment is suitable for use for Smart Working with fast internet connection.



The City Tax is 6,00 euros per person per day (including children aged 10 years and older) and is to be paid upon arrival (excluding bookings from web portals where the City Tax is already withheld).

Perfect location

Super easy to get around and see everything, either walking or by transit. Countless restaurants, gelato, clothing and other stores nearby. The building is interesting and the apartment is comfortable. Washing machine is a plus!

Great location, historic property

The location was perfect - easy walking distance of the Vatican and Piazza navona/Pantheon. So many restaurant options in that tiny lane from the apartment towards Piazza Navona. Kitchen is tiny but functional. Sofa bed is not the best but manageable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

excellent location to visit Rome and Vatican noisy, shower that works poorly with alternation of very hot and very cold water, tiny cups for breakfast no mugs,kitchen utensils are missing, the pillows are bad,the bedside lamp cannot turn on or off when lying down,

Great location

Best asset here is the location and cool building. The ac was good and it was super hot. We did not cook, but there was a small kitchen where we made tea and kept some things in fridge. Grabbed croissants for 1.50 around the corner. Visited Hadrian’s Mausoleum up the street, shopped and ate in the area. Only snafu was one toilet and loose and they re-glued it down while we were there. Two small flights of stairs to door. We enjoyed our time here.

Way too loud. Musty smell. Hard to get sleep especially for kids. We only stayed 1 of 3 nights. Apartment is much darker than the photos show. Honestly not a terrible place but was pretty overpriced at over $300 per night. Was hoping to get 1 night refund but didn’t hear back.

Nel Cuore della Città Eterna

Il vs appartamento Banchi Castello e’ in una posizione veramente strategica….all’uscita del palazzo, soprattutto di sera, la vista di Castel Sant’Angelo riempie il cuore. Roma, anche se è molto estesa, è facile da percorrere e da qui si raggiungono un sacco di posti interessanti anche a piedi. Bastano 2 paia di sneakers, gambe e piedi buoni ed il gioco è fatto ! Immergersi nell’arte, nella cultura, nelle chiese e nelle basiliche, nelle rovine, nei siti archeologici, nei monumenti, nei palazzi, nelle piazze e nella rigogliosa natura che possiede l’URBE non ha paragoni ed è una cosa impagabile ! Meraviglia Assoluta !!!…stavo tornando alla Stazione Termini per ripartire e già programmavo il prossimo viaggio a Roma col suo itinerario ! Posso dire che siete ben organizzati, sempre disponibili per ogni richiesta dell’ospite…io ho avuto un piccolo problema con lo scarico della doccia e siete intervenuti subito dopo avervi segnalato il disagio. Siete sempre stati molto gentili. Sto già consigliando Bernini House ad amici e parenti che verranno prossimamente a Roma. E chiaramente il mio prossimo soggiorno a Roma sarà in una delle vs strutture, meglio ancora se ci sarà disponibilità a Banchi Castello….quindi alla prossima !
