About this property

NEW SMYRNA BEACH - Beachside Bungalow at Bahamian Club!

My "Beach Bungalow" is located on the south end of the barrier island of New Smyrna Beach in the Bahamian Club. My home-away-from-home is just steps away from the ocean. Located directly across the street from the beach (there is a dedicated crosswalk as well as a footpath with some parking, as well as a vehicle beach ramp to drive on the beach, yes, drive in the beach, close by).

Our unit is two levels with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and sleeps 5 comfortably. We have ceiling fans throughout, Wi-Fi, great entry sunroom w/Tommy Bahama Bar, Smart TV's in master bedroom and living room with cable and HBO. Just to name a few of the amenities.

Your home away from home has a full sized tower washer and dryer, full sets of linens, dishes, pots and pans, toaster oven, microwave, Keurig, regular coffee pot, beach towels, books and games, as well as a gas grill and so much more. It offers a quiet setting in a great community among a canopy of trees (Old Florida style) with pool (also grills by the pool), shuffleboard and tennis/pickle ball courts, and a weight room.

The perfect getaway spot with so much to offer. In walking distance, there is a "Nautilus by the Sea" fitness center located next to a Food Market, Ice Cream Shop, Pizza Restaurant, a quaint local bar with liquor store and a highly rated restaurant “The Bakers Table” there as well. All a short walk from our front door.

New Smyrna has many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops on popular Flagler Avenue (beachside) and is a short drive away. Canal Street (on mainland) also has great dining options, museums, a local brewery and many shopping options. Canaveral National Seashore is at the southern end and a short drive as well, as are many other local attractions, most especially our beautiful beach.

Girls trip 2022 was ahhhhmazing.

Beautiful condo. We arrived early Saturday morning 12:30am, with no problems getting in condo. Beds were so comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

July 4th Vacation

The property is perfect for a beach getaway. Ideal location right next to beach access. Jacqueline is a marvelous host and had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. Not to mention there was an ample supply of beach towels and chairs - no stress about needing to buy or packing a bunch of beach supplies. Her kindness and thoroughness in terms of making sure guests enjoy their experience is unparalleled - she checks all of the boxes.

Awesome Location and Perfect Start to Summer

We loved our stay and it was such a perfection location we are in love! The walk to the beach is literally 5 minutes and the beach is not as crowded as many public locations which was perfect for our family with kids! The pool is also a short walk and great for after the beach to cool down! We had some rain during our stay but typical to Florida weather only for a couple of hours in the afternoon so it was perfect for a midday siesta. Flagler and the little historic district is a short drive and we were there almost every afternoon for dinner. Loved our stay and would most definitely be back!

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This property is absolutely amazing!!! The unit was so clean, neat and tidy!! It had everything you could possibly need and more. Very well stocked, unlike places I've stayed at before. The beds were so comfortable and with the black out curtains...I slept til 10am one morning!!! It was just what my family and I needed. The staff was so easy to work with...just amazing people!!! I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it!! A great little place!!!

We were in town to host my daughter’s baby shower. The unit was perfect, except for the sewer smell that would start in the early afternoon and get stronger into the evening; like the backflow preventer couldn’t keep up with all the flushing in the general area of where we were.

Beach Trip

The condo was very clean and updated! We enjoyed time on the upstairs balcony for drinks and dinner. The condo was well stocked with kitchen items, towels, and bedding. We loved the natural feel of the neighborhood with all of the trees and plants. We were bummed that the beach access nearby is currently closed but we still enjoyed plenty of beach time. I would suggest to change the property description until the access is back.

Surprise Family Vacation

Nice Place good location

The place was nice and clean. We arrived late at night at check in was still easy. There was some paperwork required outside of the VRBO registration. That was a little extra work, but all in all it was a great property and I would reccomend it to others.

Comfortable, clean, and roomy

We had a great stay in this awesome beach cottage. The unit is roomy and had plenty of living space and bedroom space for our family. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of linens/pillows for all. The complex is quiet, but family friendly. The pool was easy to access and the beach was a short walk across the street. Definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Just what we needed!

My family and I stayed here to get some rest and relaxation after my daughters’ volleyball nationals. It exceeded our expectations and needs! Clean, all necessities at our finger tips, close walk to the beach and pool. We would absolutely recommend the property and hope to be able to visit again!

Great beach getaway

I found the rental on VRBO, which I am new to, and was able to find this place with ease. The place was as stated. We had to buy body boards for the ocean, and toiletries, but everything else was supplied. It is a great place to stay, just across the road from the beach. I would stay here again if we return to Florida!

Super clean and comfortable throughout. We felt like we were home! Plenty of towels. Fully stocked kitchen.
