Loved Barcelona

The property is small, but served our needs for one month stay. Like other comments the unit is central to all sites and easy to get around. This is an old dirty building and the hallways were dirty and smelled of rotting garbage. Exterior of building and lobby photos were deceiving. Our arrival time was delayed 3+ hours and due to time difference and language we were not met in a timely manner to receive the keys.Trying to communicate through VRBO is not acceptable. After a long day of visiting sites and being tired, the bed was the best. The shower is slippery getting in and out and limited supply of hot water.

First of all, I don't know where you see the dirt or the bad smell in the halls of the building. The building has a cleaning service that does it every week. The photos are recent and are exact as the building is. Regarding the time of arrival, tell you that you sent me an email saying that the plane had to return and you had to take a new one, up to that point, I didn't know if it would take you 3 hours or even one more day to arrive, and directly without notifying me that you had arrived in Barcelona, you call me and tell me that you are in the building waiting, I had to run to give you the key and it did not take more than 15 minutes to arrive.

Charming apartment on La Rambla

The location of the apartment is wonderful. So close to Carrefour, I would go get ingredients I forgot while I was cooking. So many activities were walking distance. The apartment is small but fine for one or two people. The Wi-Fi is great. The tv works fine for Spanish programming, but too old for HDMI. In the month I stayed there, it was loud just one night. Somebody’s birthday party. I would be happy to be there another month.

J'ai eu le plaisir d'habiter ce petit logement de Mario à Barcelone. Pour une personne seule, c'est parfait. Tout était conforme à la description..J'ai apprécié la propreté du logement, sa situation, directement sur la Rambla, mais sans le bruit de la place. Un autre + de l'appartement, le confort du lit " queen " Petit bémol, il faut passer par la chambre pour accéder à la salle de bains.. Je donne un 5/5 pour cet appartement et je compte bien y retourner l'an prochain. Marthe ( Canada)

Better Than Expected

Originally I was a little uncertain about booking this flat because it was right on La Rambla and since it didn't have a balcony I thought it might be somewhat dark inside. In fact the entrance being right on La Rambla was perfect for getting out, getting groceries (right next door) and just taking in the excitement of Barcelona. The flat itself was at the back of the building facing a quiet street - hard to believe but it was incredibly quiet and I can be sensitive to a lot of street noise. As for light, the west facing wall was all windows, large windows, nice and bright absolutely no lack of openness. I was there for two months and was very comfortable and would book it again if I'm ever in Barcelona again. Howard
