About the host
Hosted by Ursula George
Originally from London, we moved to Scotland 30+ years ago - and still feel as if we're on holiday in this beautiful area! With four children we have spent many holidays in the UK and abroad, usually self catering, so we know what you need for a comfortable, happy family holiday!
Why they chose this property
We live very close to the lodges and absolutely love Royal Deeside. Mountains, rivers, castles, wildlife - and a beautiful coastline only 30 minutes drive away - it really has it all! So much to do for adults and children alike - or you can just cosy up by the stove in the lodge and relax.
What makes this property unique
The lodges are spacious and comfortable with a covered deck area for eating outside and plenty of space to run around and let off steam. The location is peaceful and rural with cows in the field across the road, yet less than five minutes drive takes you to the charming town of Banchory with all amenities. We are on hand to advise on things to do, whatever your interest - so just ask!
