Our second stay at Hayes Farm and even better than the first. We love the accommodations, the estate grounds, the location, and the hosts! Absolutely wonderful place.
We had the best time at the Hayes farm house, it is such a charming and beautiful location. They had everything we needed and it was such a comfortable and memorable stay. Would highly recommend and hope to come back someday!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old house with stunning gardens. So much space at the property and the environs. Very easy to access to the Cotswold Way where the views are spectacular. Don’t always follow the sat nav as some of the lanes are very narrow!
Beautiful location, fabulous property, 21st century issues
The farm house was amazing. This unbelievable property with amazing views and scenic beaut makes the setting very special.Inconsistent heat and unreliable hot water, and limited laundry keeps this property from receiving 5 stars. We loved the location and seeing sheep and cattle grazing outside our window was very special. Every bathroom didn’t have consistent hot water and the laundry was insufficient for 10 adults. We couldn’t ask for a better scenic location but consistent modern conveniences would made this property perfect.
Loved the farmhouse, its location, the views, beautiful garden, the peace & quiet. A welcoming homely atmosphere, well-equipped, with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults and one baby. The beds were comfortable and the room sizes large. The outside of the farmhouse is very impressive and the inside doesn't disappoint and has lots of character. We very much enjoyed the company of the lovely cat who clearly thought the place was his own! Phillip, our host, introduced himself when we arrived, told us about the property and informed us to call him should we need anything. Logs were available for burning but we were very lucky with the weather and didn't need to light a fire. The heating system worked well and only used an extra short boost on one occasion. We had no real problems and didn't see him again during our 3 night break. The roads to the village are on the tight side with limited passing places but no major problems encountered. There are several places to get takeaways and we used a fantastic award winning seafood caterer in Nailsworth. One pub close by and with a great view was more than disappointing! Local short walks are worthwhile. We would definitely recommend this property and intend returning at some point - it's just so peaceful and a real escape from the world!
