Lovely and peaceful place. Incredible view.

We loved EVERYTHING. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place .

Clean and Spacious accommodation. Lovely views from the balcony of the marina. Well equipped. Next time I would take my own pillow as I found them to be very floppy. But that’s personal choice. Although the properties are attached the soundproofing is excellent.

We loved staying at Volendam Marina Park! Double storey, large, 2 bedroom house with a big kitchen, 2 toilets, spacious living room & a balcony with a spectacular view over the harbour. Just beautiful! You can hire bikes & sailboats there & there's a small beach nearby. Some points to watch out for: 1. They take several days to respond to emails. 2. You have to pay extra for linen, towels & final clean (or you can clean it yourself) 3. There is no toaster, no washing machine (there is a laundromat for €8) & only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided. Other than that, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Got the smallest unit available, 2 bedrooms, price reasonable for what we got (only 2 people), enjoyed the extra space. You do have to factor in linen rental. No complaints. Great view from balcony, lots of hot water in the kitchen.

Volendam est un joli petit port au nord d'Amsterdam et est idéal pour découvrir les environs si vous ne voulez pas être dans la grande ville d'Amsterdam. Les locations sont au bord de la marina dans un très bel environnement et très bien équipées. Quelques idées d'excursions : le centre ville de Volendam, l'île de Marken à 30 mn en partant du port de Volendam, Amsterdam (préférez le bus avec un arrêt juste en face de la marina et arrivée au centre d'Amsterdam - environ 30 mn), les jardins de Keukenhof (idéal en avril), ville de Leiden avec ses nombreux canaux (peut-être fait en même temps que Keukenhof), circuit en vélo dans les petits villages au sud de Volendam, petit port de pêche Hoorn au nord de Volendam, le site de Zaanse Chans avec ses moulins à vent (s'il yen a un à visiter c'est le moulin scierie).

Das kleine holländische Haus war perfekt für zwei Paare und sehr gut ausgestattet. Volendam ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung und ihre vielfältigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Windmühlen, Blumen, kleine Dörfer, Amsterdam) zu erkunden. Volendam ist zudem ein wunderschönes Städtchen.
