View from front balcony was lovely. It would be helpful to non-Europeans to state that the ground floor is not considered the 1st floor as it is in other countries. Will reduce confusion.

Nice little apartment in a great location — close to the metro, and several bus lines stop nearby. The place was fairly clean, though the floor could use a good mopping. Since we like to walk barefoot, our feet turned a stylish shade of “Porto black” every day. Some previous guests apparently declared war on local flies and used the white walls and ceiling as their battlefield — the evidence is still visible. The balcony is perfect, especially for breakfast in the morning sun. Around the corner you’ll find a few small supermarkets and a bakery; downstairs are a couple of cozy restaurants (we didn’t try them, but the reviews look good). For us, the bakery and supermarket were already more than enough. All in all, a good little apartment for the price, ideally located for exploring Porto.

The unit was nice and bright and in a good location (close to several bus stops and metro stations).

The unit was nice and bright and in a good location (close to several bus stops and metro stations). The down side: they need to either install an A/C or window screens as there was a serious mosquito problem. I had over 25 mosquito bites which swelled and were very uncomfortable and based on the many squished bug smears on the walls and ceiling this was a problem for others. There was only 1 fan which was mediocre. This is not a quiet location if you need the windows open for ventilation, as the front faces a busy road and the back faces a busy restaurant/bar. However, if you stay in the winter months perhaps this won't be an issue as the windows will be closed. I saw a portable heater in the closest.

Property Review - 7 week stay...

Our stay was January 21st to March 11th, 2025. I would rate the stay 2.5 stars. We had to move to the living room for the last three weeks to avoid the bedroom.Good points: Great location near restaurants and public transportation, a large apartment for the price, a free cleaning was provided, fast responses from the company, and a great kitchen, front room, and balcony.Neutral points: Proximity to a police station leads to sirens, and nearby building renovations cause daytime construction noise.Bad points: Mold in the bedroom ceiling caused serious health issues (including a trip to the emergency room), mosquito problem, lack of general repairs when requested, requirement to keep bedroom blinds closed due to a nearby restaurant, and a bathroom that doesn't dry quickly or completely.I hope this review does not exclude me from future GuestReady properties, however, the above are facts. Despite its great location and size,I would not stay in this property again because of the mold and mosquitoes.

In love with Porto

Het appartement is zeer gerieflijk. In de keuken misten we een paar dingen als een snijplank en keukendoeken. Maar op zich goede keuken. Bed uitstekend en een heerlijke douche. Goed gelegen, met een leuke wandeling belandt je in het centrum. Parkeren is een uitzoekissue.

Foi uma ótima estadia! Apesar de não ter sido no apartamento que pretendia, foi ainda melhor! Vista lindíssima, conforto perfeito, ótima localização, ainda nos deixaram um miminho (café, chá, açúcar, sal, azeite e vinagre) e tiveram o cuidado de colocar um aparelho repelente de mosquitos. Adoramos!
