Great location and views

Location couldn’t be better with great view from the apartment. Nauzanne lovely and quiet with St Palais, Royanne and lots of places to visit nearby. Hyper marche close by in Vaux sur mer. Enjoyed our holiday very much.

Saint Palais is an excellent resort with nice beaches and a wide selection of shops and restaurants. The apartment is literally a minute or so from the Nauzan beach; also across the road is a lovely walk along the Corniche de Nauzan. On the other side of the bay there is a coastal path, which takes you deep into neighbouring Vaux. The town centre is a short walk in the other direction. The bakery on the main road has long opening hours and good produce. Even better is Le Fournil de Dam's bakery, which is nearer the market. There are supermarkets, but we used the Intermarche Express in the centre, so as to avoid taking the carFurther up the coast is the Grand Cote and more beaches, which we visited rather than used. We took the bus one day to Royan and enjoyed our visit, armed with a guide from the tourist officeThe apartment itself is clean, well equipped and very well situated. Noise from the road can be a little intrusive, but we may be over sensitive in that respect. It meant that we used the balcony for drying rather than sitting out. Our only minor niggles with the apartment were the absence of wi fi (it didn't spoil our stay, but if VRBO advertise it, we expect to have it!) and a noisy fridge, which meant we had to sleep with the bedroom door closed. However, we would be more than happy to return to the apartment in the future

Stay in April

Its 2nd time we have stayed. This time found it to be really noisy with harley Davidsons constantly revving up the hill during the day and noisy people shouting in early hours. The advert for rental included word Wifi. There was in fact NO wifi. Had to go out and buy a T towel on first day. There are no towels good job I had one. No sheet on bed just a throw to cover you. There is a safe but you cant use it. And the bedroom really is smaller than I remembered. We wont be staying again.

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement très accueillant ! Situé au rez-de-chaussée, il est spacieux, lumineux et très confortable. La grande terrasse abritée avec vue sur la mer permet de profiter pleinement du cadre.Le parking privé est un vrai plus. Les consignes pour l’arrivée et le départ étaient simples et très bien expliquées. L’hôte s’est montrée particulièrement agréable, réactive et attentive aux détails.L’appartement bénéficie en outre d’un emplacement parfait, à quelques pas du sentier des douaniers, des restaurants et du centre-ville.

Vacances de février

Je voulais partager quelques jours avec ma petite fille de 6 ans, hélas le temps n'était pas de la partie. Heureusement l'appartement super agréable nous a permis d'admirer les marées (vue annoncée et réelle sur la mer) et de profiter d'une balade sur le plage dès qu'une éclaircie le permettait (3 mns à pieds). Un beau souvenir.
