Charming and spacious 12th century accommodation in a pastoral, secluded setting. Magical in many ways. One could just close one’s eyes and imagine the Knights Templar in the space.Delightfully decorated with pretty furnishings that fit the space and thoughtful art pieces.Host was very responsive as issues arose.Would have been nice to have a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Not a suitable property for an elderly person or anyone who might have trouble with uneven surfaces or stairs with no railings.

For your perfect vacations

The house is incredibly beautiful. The location in the Perigord Noir is wonderful. The property is huge and completely secluded. You have absolute peace and silence. You can enjoy the four terraces around the house at any time of day, depending on whether you want sun or shade. I spent hours just sitting there and enjoying myself. The almost thousand-year-old house has a very warm, authentic atmosphere. The house description provided by the very friendly Carles is detailed and helpful. I will definitely be back. Superbe maison au calme du Périgord

Une très belle maison ancienne, avec une terrasse semi ombragée donnant sur la piscine. Confort et calme , proche des sites du Périgord (Les Eyzieq, Sarlat, Beynac...La maison est bien équipée, un peu sombre mais fraiche à l'intérieur.Le propriétaire est réactif (en anglais), mais il faut parfois aller chercher l'info, codes (WI fi , alarme piscine...) , déchets. Une info complète à l'entrée dans les lieux serait un

une semaine au coeur de la dordogne

tres belle propriete, ancienne commanderie du temps des templier au coeur du perigord noira la fois loin des foules et proche des principaux sites touristiquesl exterieur de la maison, en particulier l espace piscine meriterait une mise a jour. maison et exterieurs peu adaptés a de jeunes enfants.mais parfaite pour un sejour entre amis.
