Location location location

We had a wonderful stay! The house is roughly a 15 minute drive to just about all the ‘must sees’ of the region, including many of the most beautiful villages in France. If a walk is what you’re after, you can take a 10 minute walk into old sarlat for a drink or dinner or a walk through the market. The way back from sarlat is uphill all the way so be ready! We loved getting the built in exercise! You can also drive two minutes to the parking lots at the bottom of the hill. The house(s) are very well equipped with plenty of pans, utensils and dishes. There are many outdoor and indoor spaces that allow for privacy as well as places to gather. The neighborhood is quiet. There is not a freezer in the larger house. However, this was not a problem for us as we only needed the freezer for ice and we got it from the smaller kitchen in the gite. I would recommend this house to anyone!
