The reason for the change was a technical issue caused by a new booking software we had just installed at the time of your reservation. Unfortunately, it resulted in a rare overbooking error. As soon as we discovered the problem we reached out to offer you the best possible alternatives, including a full cancellation with refund or a reduced stay. We understand this was disappointing, and we truly regret the inconvenience.
Please rest assured that this issue has since been completely resolved. We worked directly with the software provider to correct the problem and have added extra checks to prevent this from happening again.
We’re glad to hear you found the house itself beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the cleanliness up to standard. Regarding your note on the electrical fittings, we’ve already had a certified electrician inspect and secure all sockets and lights, so everything is now safe and fully up to standard.
