We had a very nice week at this cute and clean cabin just outside of Asheville. We loved the close location to restaurants and breweries and hiking and enjoyed sitting around the fireplace in the evening playing board games. Another plus was the well-stocked kitchen and enjoying coffee on the porch listening to the creek flowing through the yard. A few minor things to note- neighboring homes and the road are closer than depicted in photos and we would have appreciated better check in/out instructions and the posting of a wifi password. Otherwise, we had a great stay!
Eva made the process very simple. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about our stay and activities we planned on doing. We had a wonderful stay thanks to Eva😊
Terrific access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and related hiking trails, which we made great use of. Additionally, cabin amenities are excellent - I took a bubble bath every day just to treat myself. It was a great relaxing trip. The only criticism would be that the downstairs bed was so squeaky that we ended up sleeping on the upstairs bed. However, overall, the cabin is a beautiful and restful haven that we thoroughly enjoyed. The full kitchen made it really easy to lounge around in comfort for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Tranquil, convenient cabin even prettier than the pictures!
This absolutely charming property is situated on substantial land featuring gorgeous landscaping. The decor features a homey, rustic country style (immaculate too) with all the amenities needed. The owners are communicative, helpful and provided a lovely experience for family and our pets too. We can confidently refer this great cottage to Asheville-bound travelers.
This property was perfect for our small family Thanksgiving get together. It felt like home away from home. Cozy and warm. Truly charming. We had a great experience and can’t wait to be back! The owners Eva and Mike are very attentive.
The place provides a warm cozy feeling inside while providing a relaxing scenic country setting outside. Fabulous location, that allows for less than 20 minutes of drive time to Downtown Asheville, shopping, restaurants, hiking, Biltmore Estate, and more.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very homey, and the gas fireplace was a delight during the cool nights. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and kind.
The only aspect that I wish had been different is the downstairs shower is very tiny, about the size of a cruise ship shower. But the tub was big and spacious. So if one loves taking a tub, it’s fine. The upstairs shower was normal size though, so one can use the upstairs bath if a shower is preferred.
We cooked quite a bit, and the gas stove was handy. We enjoyed watching wild turkeys and deer at the creek side in the mornings while having coffee. I would definitely recommend this property for a peaceful quiet stay in the woodsy environment. We would love to visit Eva’s properties again.
My husband, son and wife enjoyed our stay in Asheville! The home was everything we needed plus more! The creek was very relaxing. Enjoyed meeting Eva. She was very accommodating and welcoming and provided lots of helpful tips for our visit in the area.
We had a really nice time at Eva’s place. The cottage had everything and was close to great hiking trails/ the blue ridge parkway. Great for a week away in nature!
We had s’mores the first night that the owners left out for us! The fire pit was amazing, communication and cleanliness was spot on! Will be going back!!
Our stay could not have been more perfect. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Eva provided everything we could have needed. We can’t wait to go back.

The Perfect Getaway!
Our trip to Crystal Creekside Cottage was a special occasion; my son had just returned from deployment (and it was his birthday). We chose the cottage as a long weekend getaway and we could not have been more pleased. Not only was the cottage charming and warm with all the amenities you could possibly need (in a great location to boot), but Michael and Eva were WONDERFUL hosts! Honestly, it felt as if we were staying with family. I highly recommend them and their wonderful properties (which they graciously allowed us to tour) and, in fact, intend to return so I can stay in all of them myself. What a great vacation experience we had!

charming
The cabin is meticulously maintained. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. There is everything you need to make for a wonderful stay. The owner was so helpful in planning restaurants to visit and things to do. The restaurants and shops in Weaverville are all excellent. The house is close to the BlueRidge Parkway. We enjoyed Craggy Gardents, the babbling creek that runs beside the house. There is a fire pit that would be great on a dry night. The Glass Onion and Stoney Knob Cafe were terrific. Well Bread Cafe, Moes Barbeque were amazing. The cabin is close to Asheville. So much more intimate in Weaverville. I have stayed in the main house and the cabin. It is idyllic for a short stay with friends or for a family gathering. The tree house looks amazing.
