New 3 bedroom house with incredible views over Porthmeor Beach, The Island, Godrevy Lighthouse and 25 mile views up the north coast of Cornwall, weather permitting. Less that 10 minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach and all that St Ives has to offer. Purpose built (2023) holiday let with guests in mind, this one of two properties takes advantage of the amazing view with reverse level living. Enter on the ground floor, with 2 parking spaces and free EV charging point, to 3 bedrooms. The master ensuite with king size bed, and shower room, 2nd bedroom with 6 ft zip & Link superking (can be singles), and the 3rd bedroom with 2 singles (can be 6ft zip & link superking. And family bathroom with shower over, wc and basin complete the ground floor. Stairs lead to the 1st floor open planned lounge, dining and kitchen. Large sliding doors lead from the lounge onto the large wrap around balcony, to take advantage of the sun going down in the evening. So enjoy the balcony to watch the sun rise in the morning or dine alfresco as the sun dips in the evening. The first floor includes kitchen with double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer and the 3rd shower room with wc and basin. Light the woodburner for cosy nights, and watch the storms pass by. Heating is provided by air source heat pump, underfloor heating, plus triple glazing. The ground floor decked area includes a built in bbq/charcoal and a large area for sitting, and an outside warm water shower for rinsing off after returning from the beach. This property is one of 2 and can be booked as a pair to sleep 12 in total with 6 bedrooms/6 shower rooms. Great for two families who wish to holiday together, but have their own space. About as perfect a holiday rental as you can get
Communication with Liz, the rental agent/owner, was impeccable. We had a small issue with some car alarm noise from next door that she took care of immediately. Her response time on questions was minutes. The cottage (we would call it a townhouse in the U.S. looks and feels brand new. Within walking distance (albeit a steep climb back) to everything. St Ives is such a beautiful coastal town and we had amazing weather. The views from the townhouae are amazing. The place has everything you would need. There is a Spar grocery store within 100 meters. Beds are comfortable, linens and towels are new, and the kitchen is well stocked. We highly recommend.
