Texel Holiday Home, Subtropical Swimming Pool

Everything about Gerdi's space.
This 6-person detached vacation home is located at De Krim vacation park on Texel. The house is a wonderful place to stay all year round.

The space
The living room and enclosed garden face south, allowing plenty of natural light to stream in and letting you enjoy the sun to the fullest.
On the first floor, there is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and oven, and the living room features a fireplace and a smart TV with Netflix. Upstairs, there are 2 more spacious bedrooms with dormer windows and 1 bathroom. A separate crib is also available, if needed.
The enclosed garden features a spacious patio with a lounge sofa and a barbecue. There is also a stone shed equipped with electricity, a parasol, patio furniture, and cushions.
Free Wi-Fi and parking for 2 cars are available.
As of January 1, 2026, access to the swimming pool is not included in the price. The subtropical swimming pool was named the best swimming pool in the Netherlands in 2018.

Guest access:
You can use all of the park’s facilities, including the swimming pool and fitness center (for a fee as of January 1, 2026), indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a climbing park, pony rides, various restaurants, organized children’s and youth activities, laser tag, and bike rentals.
The 18-hole “De Texelse” golf course is within walking distance. You’ll receive a 30% discount on the green fee. The golf club offers interesting introductory lessons for guests.
A 20-minute bike ride away, you can go skydiving, and flying lessons and sightseeing flights are also available. You can book attractive deals for these activities through the Vakantieveiling website, among others.
The Texel lighthouse and beach are a 15-minute bike ride from my house. Here you can fly kites, go blokarting, and take lessons in kitesurfing and catamaran sailing.

Guest access:
. Two parking spaces next to the bungalow. Parking is free throughout the entire vacation park.

There are 5 electric charging stations in the parking lot in front of the event hall, should you be driving an electric vehicle.
The Texelhopper bus has a stop at the park. There is a detached, enclosed shed with electricity for parking bicycles.

Other things to keep in mind
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not allowed.
Please bring your own bed linens and (bath) towels.
Tourist tax is included in the price.
