Cooperstown Double Play Cabins 1 Near Baseball

Double Play Cabins: New Construction 2017! Beautiful chalet style cabin with 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms only 3 miles to Dreams Park and 5 miles to Cooperstown and Baseball Hall of Fame. Sleeps up to 7 persons. This is one of multiple cabins and houses on the property. Ask us about accommodating your team, family reunion, wedding guests, company retreat and other stays.

Lofted pine ceiling in the great room with trapezoid windows lends to the airy atmosphere and brightness. The gas fireplace gives ambiance and warmth. An open concept great room features comfortable sofas and a large kitchen with seating for 6 and modern appliances – including dishwasher. The Master BR has a Queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds with a Queen size bed on the bottom and Twin on top. There is a sleep sofa in the great room. In the hallway is the main bathroom with a large vanity, tub/shower combo, and stacked washer and dryer.

Outside the cabin, guests can relax on the large covered porch. Set on 12 acres, the cabins have ample spaces to enjoy - including a grassy field for playing ball. Little kids can play on the swing set. All guests can enjoy the basketball hoop. After a fun day, guests can gather around the fire pits at night.

Adorable, charming and comfortable cottage for our weekend trip. We stayed here with 3 boys (12-16) and our 1 year old. Plenty of room for all. We loved having so much space outside for them to go play wiffleball, football and frisbee golf. The cabin had everything that we needed to feel at home. I’d definitely stay here again. Glen was a great communicator.

Home Sweet Home

Our Cabin#1 was perfect! Beautiful location to get away after being at Cooperstown Dream Park Baseball games all day/evening. Our cabin had everything we needed for our weeks stay & it was quiet, relaxing & restful. Diane came to introduce herself upon our arrival & to see if we needed anything & I also got to chat with Glen and he told me about the additional cabins & a gazebo they will be building. Great location for our stay! It's A+ for us!

Amazing Find!!

We needed to be in Cooperstown for an extended business stay. The Double Play cabins were perfect for us. We were able to set up a mini office and prepare all of our meals there. The kitchen was fully functional with everything you need plus the grill outside was great. We need to be back next year and hoping with can stay with them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Just like home

We booked our stay for my sons Cooperstown Dream Park Tournament. It was the best decision we could have made. The keener greeted us on our arrival was so friendly and helpful. We cannot say enough about the cleanliness and home-like feel of the house. We felt so comfortable staying at the cabin the at we would refer to it as “home”. “When we get home”, “We will be home in a couple of minutes”, “We can take the leftovers home”. Plus, everything we could need was there! Dishwashing detergent, some spices, laundry basket, paper towels. It’s those little things that make a stay that much more relaxing. We very highly recommend!

Cooperstown Stay

Diane and Glenn were great hosts for our stay in Cooperstown! The cabins are super clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! It’s a quick 5 minute drive to Dreams Park so we could go back and forth with ease. You can’t beat the location and comfort. Check-in and out was a breeze. I would definitely book again if we are ever in Cooperstown in the future!

Awesome Family friendly property!!

We loved our stay at the Double Play Cabins! The cabin was EXTREMELY clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The owners were there to answer any questions we had and were so accommodating. When my husband wanted to watch our home college team game and their cable didn’t get the channel The owner brought his personal smart TV over so we could watch! Super close to Cooperstown and great for kids! I highly recommend!

This cabin is peaceful and quiet but still close to various amenities. We enjoyed watching both deer and turkey cross the clearing in front of the cabins. The hosts were excellent.

The Double Play Cabins are AWESOME!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. The surrounding area was quiet and picturesque. I absolutely LOVED watching the cows from my bedroom window. I would LOVE to return to this cabin, even for a weekend getaway! The property manager/owner was a genuinely nice person and very sociable. I have NO complaints about staying in this cabin. The only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! I would DEFINITELY recommend The Double Play Cabins; I SIMPLY LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM!!!!

We traveled with our family which consist of three children so finding a hotel room was on not the best options. By Booking double play cabins for our sons Cooperstown tournament, we were able to share great memories with two of the families in the cabins next to us and cook our own meals. The cabins were spacious, functionally designed, And in pristine condition. We definitely would come back and stay when we visit Cooperstown and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have great memories on their vacation.

We stayed at Double Play Cabin 1 while our son played at Cooperstown, which is a 5 minute drive. The cabin was immaculate and surprisingly spacious. There is an empty field across from the 3 cabins where kids can play wiffle ball or football. The owners made sure that the cabin was stocked with everything you would need for a cabin vacation (towels, sheets, detergent, soap, garbage bags, etc). If you are looking for a great vacation rental while in Cooperstown, Double Play is definitely the place to stay!

An amazing cabin for an entire family minutes away from Dream Parks, where dreams are born.

By word of mouth I was able to rent this Cabin, close to Dreams Park, since my boy was playing baseball in the tournament. I called, Diane Wicks-Miller (owner) she made it as simple as 1,2,3...to book. I GPS the address and arrived on the property I notice that construction was still taking place on the property. One Cabin ready to rent and five additional in the works but I was cool with that. However, receiving the front door code, I blocked the construction scene, and allowed myself in. Upon walking in, I was mesmerized with the Cabin. The set up, living space, kitchen, rooms, both bathrooms, furniture, closet space and all the necessary amenities, needed to live comfortable. The Cabin was clean and exceedingly warm. Once settled in, I sat on the porch and enjoyed a glass of wine "Casillera Del Diablo" my schedule was based on my son's games and I was okay by it. Mr. Miller hospitality and availability was a phone call away. Furthermore, this location is near stores, lakes for sports fishing and a soothing walk or bike ride, on a country road. This rental is perfect for a family, a couple or just someone that needs comfort and relaxation in a country Cabin. I would not hesitate to rent this Cabin again..."The Cabin By The Woods." JR...
