The best thing about the lodge was the stunning view over the hills and forests of Perthshire, even with neighbours on either side it felt peaceful and isolated. The bedrooms and living space were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It’s a short drive into Aberfeldy (longer to walk than suggested by the listing) and 20 minutes into Pitlochry where we went to see a show at the Festival Theatre. Would very much recommend as a base for exploring the Highlands.
Really lovely accommodation, we were so pleased! The lodg felt luxurious in a relaxed and comfortable way. We couldn't have wished for better. Owner was so helpful and ensured our stay was 5 star. Aberfeldy was within easy walking distance and had all the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. We will definitely stay again in the near future. Thanks Kenny!
The property was excellent, ideal location for walking and Aberfeldy had all the amenities for socialising and good shops close by. My only concern is the access road is quite rough and not very well defined in the dark. Otherwise everything was faultless.
Enjoyed the stay it was central for the best part we enjoyed our stay. A couple of little points I found annoying was the view was spectacular but the windows had finger prints and smudges all over them. No mention of the the type of road we had to drive up with our new police, rub le no acceptable when I think of how much we paid for the lodge for a weekend I would expect a proper road to drive up.
