Gorgeous property - lovely conversion of an old farmhouse. Everything you need inside, but it's the outside that makes it - fabulous pool, great shady sunbed areas, and stunning views both day and night. Great little local villages, and easy to get round the whole island - we rented a car, but there's a busstop 2 mins away. Alexandra was a great, friendly responsive host who gave us a really warm in person welcome. Absolutely loved this place.
Beautiful views across the island, with a sea view also. Was so peaceful and relaxing, is definitely worth a visit. We are looking forward to returning at a later time.
We had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable stay in this incredible farmhouse. Our experience was remarkable from the moment we met our host Alexandra who provided a perfect welcome package for us!The location was perfect and walking distance to local grocery stores, the Ta Dbiegi crafts village, Sunset Cliff, and the Inland Sea Dive Site. The property was exactly as depicted, responsive communication with the host, highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly exceptional vacation experience!
This week was a perfect one. Not only great weather, the best of all was the accommodation, the friendliness of the owner, the cleanness of the house, and everything there that makes a great vacation. Ideal für a Family of 6.
We had a great stay with 4 adults and two children. The home had loads of room and great views. Easy walks to town and the in-land lake by the sea.
We cooked a big breakfast every day, the kitchen is well set up, then dinner out most nights. 10/10 Looking forward to returning.

Lovely old farmhouse with all mod cons
We enjoyed a lovely weekend here with my two grandchildren, with the swimming pool being a particular attraction. Used the BBQ both nights, and found the air con good too. Very clean and well presented property, with some welcome provisions in the fridge when we arrived in the evening off the ferry. Charming hosts and altogether delightful!
Aldo and Alexandra were very friendly and gentle, left a nice starter kit for a breakfast in the house - very warm welcome though, as well as the contact with them.
House has a very nice view, partly to the northern seaside. Terrasse with pool was our most used place when at home. Everything stuffed quite well and complete.
Thank you for this really beautiful stay!
From start to finish we found Aldo and Alexandra to be excellent hosts. The house was everything we expected and more. The little extra touches make such a difference. To arrive after a long journey and find wine and provisions in the fridge was a lovely surprise. Thank you for a great holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The house was spacious and clean, and had everything you needed. We spent most of our time on the large terrace and in the pool, and this made our holiday.
Alexandra looked after us brilliantly and was available if we needed anything.
The property is located in a small street in the quiet village of San Pietru. Its in a lovely, quiet spot with great views from the terrace, and yet it’s close enough to Gharb, San Lawrenz and the Blue Hole / Inland Sea.
We had a great holiday there and will definitely go back.

The host we met, (Alexandra) was delightful in every way. I had my 86 th birthday and she absolutely spoilt me with pastries she had made and a beautiful birthday card. Also mother in law sent some home made goats cheese. They are in my case and will be enjoyed in England.
As other guests have said the views from the top terrace and pool area are spectacular. We had no car so a village shop nearby would have been welcome, but the bus stop very near to the property was used to get about.
The only disappointment was the lack of a DVD player as we had brought DVDs.
Otherwise this is a unique property well worth a stay.
This is a lovely place to stay.
Alexandra is very helpful - she came to show us around, was on the end of a phone if needed and came at the end to check we were all ok.
The house is lovely. There is a sitting room downstairs, a well stocked kitchen and downstairs bathroom - upstairs there is a huge double room on a mezzanine level with a privacy screen.
There are outside stairs to 2 more huge rooms - one with a king size bed and one with triple single beds - both have great en suite bathrooms. There is ac in all the rooms which turns on via 1€ and 2€ coins - we found 4€ made the 3 bedrooms cool enough to sleep very comfortably in with fans when the AC turned off. We didn't use the AC in the other rooms.
There is a lovely pool outside with a built in barbeque. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
We spent a lovely warm week here!
The village is lovely. There is a small but very good supermarket just a short bus ride away. There are big supermarkets in Victoria. Also Alexandra told us that supermarkets would deliver but we didn't use that. There are lovely little restaurants in Gharb itself and in Victoria.
The buses are really easy (2€ a journey for up to 2 hours) but also Bolt is brilliant and mostly worked out cheaper/ the same as the buses for 4 adults.
Everywhere is really easy to get to.
We would recommend both Gharb and this house as a lovely relaxing place to stay.
Hi,
- the location of the property was great, we felt we could access the whole island efficiently.
a. A huge, huge living space, we never used, no windows and it had a dampness to it.
- A huge loft you see in the listing, beautiful... but access to a bathroom from it was down some ladder/stairs, thru the kitchen/dining room. We chose not to use this room as well.
-The other two bedrooms were not accessible from the main house, had to go outside to the pool deck and up some stairs.... odd, but as it turns out we kinda liked it, feeling of privacy and each room had an on-suite.
- clothes washer broke while were there, host had it fixed with an hour or two of being notified - epic!
- dishwasher was rusty, didn't even try to use it.
- the dishes/glasses smelled a bit funky, felt we had to wash everything before we used it.
All of those things listed above are not deal breakers for us, we would definitely stay again.
But ......
- 50 Euro fine for not take trash/recycling etc. out as defined, every day. Rubbish day was the day we moved in, the previous renters rubbish was on a hook outside the front door our entire stay.
- We had to meet the host for check out... so she could collect some tax we hadn't heard about.
- The heat and A/C were coin-op. Yes, you read that correctly. If we wanted heat or A/C we had to drop coins in. craziest thing we had ever seen.
Please just charge 5-10 euros more per night and include all the things.

Dear Jess,
Thank you for your review, we set a high standard for ourselves, and we’re so sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with our house.
Unfortunately the islands had lots of rain before your arrival and during your stay and the humidity was very high. There is a dehumidifier in the living room, which could be used free of charge.
The house was built in the 1700 and was a millhouse as we inform on our description, that living room was a mill-room is a heritage, we can't touch it and open windows, but on top of the living room there are windows which can be always opened.
We always do our best to fix if there is a problem, as we clearly did with washing machine right away, the same we did with the dishwasher, we have ordered the new racks and they arrived after your departure.
The warning sign for the garbage is needed to make sure people take care of the schedule and keep the house clean. You were never charged even if garbage was left behind.
We always do our best to meet with our guests, to see how was there staying and I'm really sorry you didn't mention any of these while I went there to talk you and also needed to collect the eco tax which is all over Europe and it's a Maltese law.
Regarding the coin meter for Air-condition is listed under house description, it's a common thing here in Malta and Gozo to make sure people won't leave Air-condition on while not in house and waste electricity in this hard times.
We hope you will give us another chance if you come back to Malta
Best regards
Aldo and Alexandra
We really enjoyed our stay in this charming 500yo farmhouse with its fabulous stone walls and decorative floors, and sympathetic renovation. It is comfortable and the pool area is lovely to relax in whilst enjoying the district rural and sea views. It is clean, quiet and well looked after. Alexandra is a very helpful and responsive host who takes pride in providing a good experience for guests. Gharb is a charming town and positioned well for exploring the island. Great cafes and restaurants nearby. If we return we will book this house again.

The property was a really good size and could easily accommodate 3 couples if necessary. Lovely views from the property and very quiet and secluded.
The double bed was not super comfy, but I am quite fussy when it comes to that sort of thing so it's very common when I go on holiday and something I was expecting anyway.
Alexandra was excellent. Always responsive and helpful if we needed her for anything at all.
The aircon was absolutely essential, as we were there in August, but we did find it was a little ineffective in the kitchen, but, again, not a big deal. It was never our intention to spend our holiday cooking.
I would certainly recommend this property, but if you are going in August, be prepared for the heat!

Very nice house with beautiful views of the gozitan landscape. The 'landlords' were nice, very helpfull and allways responded quickly. They were able to fix the only problem we had with the equipment in the house before we came back in the evening of the day it first occured, which is something that most certainly not everyone could have done. Besides that all the equipment worked well and was just as described: Dishwasher, washing machine, 3 bathrooms (all nicely renovated), fully equiped kitchen, ...
The house is easily reachable by bus from Victoria/Rabat and is in close proximity to the station.
I can absolutely recommend staying here for people who want to visit Gozo!

A lovely farm house experience !
We have arrived to a very welcoming and clean farmhouse that would easily fit alot more people than we have brought with us. The amaizing owner has greeted us with a bottle of localy produced wine, and has taken an amaizing care of us through out our stay. Our gass supply was replaced within 15 minutes of placing the call, and all our demands were met with a smile. This has been a very good experience overall and we would definately recommed renting a property from this owner to all our friends!
