Fantastic. Just perfect for our family. Memories were made. Perfect location. All we really needed to bring was our clothing and toothbrushes. Fantastic
Beautiful home in wonderful location and pet friendly!!
We loved our stay in this beautiful, well appointed home that is located in the heart of everything, within walking distance to all Coronado has to offer, and the owners were very kind and responsive to any questions. On top of that, our furry family was allowed to join us for the month. We joined Coronado Fitness for the month, saw The Million Dollar Quartet (outstanding), went to Petco Park for a game, a vineyard, and wined and dined ourselves through all of the excellent restaurants, between the Hotel Del (and the Henry--mahi fish tacos killer good), etc. that are also pet friendly. Would highly recommend. Thanks Dan and Sheri.
This was our sixth July in Coronado for our family of four (two teenage boys). We have stayed in back houses near 8th and G, 7th and I, and 10th and I. This was our favorite by far.
Location: You’re one block from the most central intersection in Coronado, 10th and Orange. You can walk to all of the restaurants, shops, drugstores and grocery store on Orange. It’s a short walk through Star Park to get to the beach and the Del boardwalk.
Parking: Off-street parking is so nice to have. The garage is a bit tight for an SUV but we were able to park a Tesla Model Y in it. Having the extra outside parking space in the alley was just a bonus.
Noise: 10th Street is a busy street and you’re close to Orange. But, it was surprisingly moderate. We had more noise in the back houses on 8th and G. With the windows closed and AC on the noise is minimal.
Size/Layout: Holy cow. The layout is fantastic. The downstairs is one big great room stretching from the kitchen through the living room to the private outside patio area. It feels very roomy. The master bedroom is large. The middle bedroom is standard size and has ample closet space. The bunk bed is convenient and the lower mattress is nice. The back bedroom is good size, lots of closet space, and has a really nice bed.
Kitchen: Really nicely upgraded kitchen with lots of counter space, nice appliances, big island to prepare meals on and sit around. Well stocked with smaller appliances, cutlery, glasses, dishes, pots and pans – everything you need.
Stock: Lots of very nice beach towels, extra linens, extra bath towels and hand towels, well stocked with toiletry items, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies. Clearly the owners put a lot of thought into how to create the most convenience for their guests.
Miscellaneous: Airflow in the mornings from open windows downstairs was really nice. The cool air off of the ocean would rush in in the mornings. The patio is a really nice place to just enjoy some private space and to store your bikes and take off your beach gear and spray off the sand. The garage was stocked with beach gear (chairs, boogie board, umbrella, etc.). The internet speed was great. Smart TVs were easy to use. Kitchen table with two leafs created a great space for work. Downstairs ½ bath is a real convenience.
We would stay here again, and again, and again.
