Daffodil House was beautiful inside and out. The village was cute with a couple of bars, a small supermarket and a village bakery for your fresh bread. The locals were very friendly. There is a tavern down the bank which you can walk to although a little way. Communication with Gretyl was fantastic and she was very responsive and respectful. A lovely lady. The pool man comes twice a week to look after the plunge pool. On arrival there was a nice bottle of wine and my favourite, Turkish delight. Lots of basic food / kitchen items.We wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend you to stay here!

I wanted to stay longer

A very nice house, clean and spatious. The kitchen has everything that is needed. The beds. It is quiet and there is a nice view onto the sea. Plenty of excellent ttaverns nearby. The host are very nice and helpful.

We had an absolutely amazing two week stay. The house is fantastic. It had everything and more that we needed. Really clean, comfortable and homely. The location is wonderful and quiet and on the doorstep to do many gorgeous beaches and Ipsos was a great little town close by. The village of Spartilas has everything you need on the doorstep. The bread from the bakery is wonderful. Corfu trail walks on the doorstep too. The pool and the sun terrace are fabulous. I loved picking figs off the tree. Gretl was a fantastic host and went above and beyond. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub auf Korfu in der Villa von Gretl und Greg. Der Blick von dort oben aus auf das Meer und die Insel ist atemberaubend schön. Das Haus ist sehr sauber gewesen und es steckt viel Liebe fürs Detail überall. Von einem kleinen Guide für den Aufenthalt im Haus mit Infos zu allen wichtigen Dingen (Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Müll, ..), einem local Guide für den Aufenthalt auf Korfu bis hin zu unzähligen Büchern und selbstgemalten Bildern von Gretl. Auch der Kontakt mit Gretl war super, sie hat innerhalb weniger Minuten direkt geantwortet. Noch dazu ist positiv hervorzuheben, dass das Auto nicht am Straßenrand stehen muss, sondern sich ein Parkplatz mit Tor direkt am Haus befindet. Es gibt sogar eine tolle Bäckerei (nicht auf Maps zu finden) und einen kleinen Mini Market fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir können das Haus also wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

We truely loved our time at Daffodill Villa. It was well located, nowhere was too far to drive to. Peaceful village with good amenities - mini market and cafe/bar. Friendly locals. Amazing views of the sea from the villa. The pool was perfect to dip into everyday to cool down. Beautiful garden. We loved hanging out in the hammock. The host was incredibly helpful from start to finish and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was well equipped. We had a very happy time there, made some special memories and really enjoyed our time in Corfu. Thank you.

Traumhafter Ausblick und toller Pool!Wir hatten einen wirklich perfekten Aufenthalt. Das absolute Highlight ist der unheimlich schöne Pool und die fantastische Aussicht von ganz weit oben auf das Mittelmeer – einfach wunderschön! Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich und man merkt, dass es bewohnt und geliebt wird. Die Küche hat zwar leichte Gebrauchsspuren und an der einen oder anderen Stelle könnte man noch eine Kleinigkeit modernisieren (das Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer war uns z. B. ein bisschen zu weich), aber das hat dem Urlaub keinen Abbruch getan. Auch das Badezimmer ist übrigens sehr schön und modern. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft für Gäste – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.Das Haus ist wunderschön, man kann am Pool relaxen oder an einer der Sitzgruppen gemütlich essen. Einige Strände sind in der Nähe, manbenötigt allerdings ein Auto.

Ein wunderschönes altes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr einladend. Die Einrichtung war super detailverliebt. Bei Sorgen und Fragen konnten die Gastgeber immer erreicht werden und waren sehr behilflich. Durch den kleinen Pool waren die Kinder auch immer beschäftigt und wir Eltern konnten uns entspannen. Ein kleiner Bäcker und ein Minimarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar, dadurch war immer frisches Brot, regionales Obst und Gemüse vorhanden. In den kleinen Gassen des Dorfes konnte man einen herrlichen Spaziergang machen und die wundervolle Aussicht genießen.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Der Aufenthalt war super und das Ferienhaus sehr schön gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Die Fahrtzeit zum Strand waren ca 20 Minuten.
