THINGS TO LOVE
- Entire main house
- 10 minute walk to town, the beach and the amazing Ericeira reserve
- Pool and outdoor shower are private to you but the studio does share a small part of the yard
- Dedicated heat and air conditioning in all rooms
- Outdoor shower with hot water
- Work-friendly internet and Wi-Fi
- Some solar energy used at the property
- Recycling bins provided, with a suggested recycling policy for guests
- We will cover the daily tourist tax fee for your reservation but will require that you upload all guests' (13 years and older) passports or identification cards to the group chat to present to the local officials before you arrive
- We will text you on your arrival date if your property is ready early

THINGS TO KNOW
- On a property with a detached guest house that may have 1-2 guests, they won't have access to the pool but may use the laundry room.
- Dedicated driveway parking for 2 cars and parking in front of the house
- Light sleepers may hear the traffic on N247
- Dogs cannot be left home alone if they will bark and disturb our neighbors
- Please buy travel insurance if your plans may change within 30 days of arrival

Ericeira: Praceta Porthaus is beautiful and had everything we needed.

Nestled in a cul-de-sac in a cute, little neighborhood off the main road, we were well situated just off a row of stunning beaches and surf havens. Beautifully furnished and decorated with some great photo art pieces, we felted very pampered and comfortable. Elle and Tim were very helpful and responsive and the house had everything we needed. Detailed information about the house and surroundings was provided on a website created just for guests. The house is technically 2 units – one on each floor – so there’s a kitchen and two bathrooms on each floor. We rented the whole house, but it would be a great space for two families/groups to share as well. Great to have a pool. We loved Ericeira. Such a great little town just a 10 minute drive of great views down the road. Blue and white buildings. Charming shops, restaurants, old churches and tiles. And not too touristy or crowded (at least went we visited at the end of June/early July). We were 40 minutes NW of Lisbon about an hour from Obidos and a bit longer to Nazare. Mafra is a short drive. A 15 minute walk down the hill takes you to Ribeira D’ilhas, a restaurant right on a terrific surf beach. A short walk up the hill takes you towards other beaches, cafes, markets and restaurants. Across the road is a nature reserve and you can hike around the cliffs overlooking the beach. Even on the afternoon my husband and son took the car for a golf outing, I was happily occupied. Given the chance, I’d return again and again!

Great time!

Our family had a great time at the house! There was plenty of room for our party of 10. Amazing to have 2 kitchens, plenty of bedrooms & laundry. Very accessible location to both Ericeira & Mafra. Surfing just down the hill ant Blue Ocean! Only thing to be aware of is that the house / pool is close to a busier road. We got used to it, and it is clear in the listing. Just something worth noting.
