This is a great property if you want to be in the center of the action in Lahinch. It’s one of around 20 apartments in a private courtyard area within walking distance of the main shops and the beach, and comes with a parking spot. It’s clean and modern, and quite well equipped. The only two drawbacks are the heat in the bedrooms (it’s very tough to cool them down by getting a cross breeze through) and the noise from the nearby bars. Not unexpected, just good to know. The check in and check out processes are the easiest I’ve ever experienced, and the communication from the owner is great.

Wonderful stay! Thankful for the heads up about sound from the pubs at night, but it really wasn't that bad. Despite what looked like extra steps to get into the place, it was actually super easy and directions were spot on. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was very comfortable! It was a great location and extremely walkable. The convenience store couldn't have been more convenient! It was a bit noisy at night on the weekend due to bars close proximity.

Okay so I feel like this stay gave me a bit of whiplash. We had just come from 7 nights in a giant clean and modern cottage in the Irish countryside and came into Lahinch which this location cannot be beat. I’ll give it that. It’s steps but bars, shops, restaurants, cafes, the ocean boardwalk/prom, which you’ll see the most breathtaking sunsets. I honestly feel like I could live in this town long term. The apartment itself is very loud, creamy, and you can hear everything outside and on either side from the neighbors. There is no AC which I know is common for EU but there’s no screens in the windows so if we wanted air flow it came with the cost of flies. There were dead flies, alive flies, and we killed 7 spiders alone on the first check in night. All the furniture is frayed, scratched, stained or broken. There are dozens of screw heads sticking out on the walls I’m guessing that used to hang decorations but many were as the height of our toddlers and my youngest cut her arm on one in the downstairs bathroom. There was no dish soap provided or any kitchen cooking basics. The hand soap in the bathrooms has been watered down to almost no soap at all so we had to buy all our own paper towels, dish soap, hand soap and shampoo and conditioners and body wash even though we were here for two nights. We’re just donating them to the property as we cannot taken them with us. I would absolutely return to Lahinch but would probably choose another location. PS: sketchy parking

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed Lahinch and the excellent central location. We would like to clarify that this is a self-catering apartment, and as clearly stated several times in our listing and booking information, we do not provide toiletries, food or cooking supplies. Comparing a small, centrally located apartment to a large modern countryside house is also not a fair comparison. We have larger countryside properties available for guests looking for that type of accommodation. Regarding the spiders, September is spider season in Ireland and they naturally come indoors at this time of year, so unfortunately there is only so much we can do. And yes, AC is not comon at all in Ireland (or screens). We are sorry to hear about your child's arm and will inspect the area mentioned. Thank you for your feedback.
