Enjoy this oceanfront townhome on Rathtrevor Beach in beautiful Parksville. Fully equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with 1200 square feet of luxury living ideal for both summer and winter getaways.

This beautifully designed unit sleeps four comfortably. It includes wood floors, granite counter-tops, stainless high-end appliances, and a gas fireplace. Furniture updated in 2022 with comfortable and stylish leather couches, recliner chairs, bar stools, Smart TV and Bluetooth media player. Dreamy King size bed with an amazing Oceanview in the primary bedroom and both a double and twin bed in the secondary bedroom. ** Please note that due to the recently upgraded furniture we are only renting to families with children age 10 or older at this time.

Enjoy the beautiful view of Rathtrevors sandy beach from the large deck with new 2025 gas Weber bbq. Our unit is spacious, and tastefully decorated with high ceilings. It is on the top (third) floor of the building. There are two flights of stairs to reach the unit. Once inside all rooms are on one level. The view from the unit is one of the best in the newer Tanglewood complex development. The back of the building offers a lovely grass area for lounging or lawn games.

There is access to an indoor pool with a small drop in fee at our neighbouring complex, Beach Acres.

Located right at fabulous Rathtrevor Beach, in Parksville, British Columbia, it has spectacular sunrises and great views of the Georgia Straight, and snow-capped mountains. A perfect family friendly location to relax and enjoy Vancouver Islands natural beauty or take advantage of Parksville's outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, boating or Skiing at nearby Mt. Washington. It is ideal for couples escaping the colder winter weather in The Prairies or eastern Canada. Rathtrevor's sandy beach, which stretches over a mile when the tide is out, makes it a fantastic spot for a summer family beach vacation. Epic days of swimming, sunshine, sand castles, kites and when permitted evening campfires with delicious smores.

Loved our stay. Condo was spacious, clean and quiet. View also spectacular and close to the beach. Also appreciated the bottle of wine that was waiting for us on the counter. Only minor complaint was having some difficulties lighting the barbecue. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this condo. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!

We loved our stay here. The property is well outfitted with almost everything you could need. All furnishings are comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bed is a comfortable king with decent pillows. It has a nice ocean view and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are several decent eating options with in walking distance. It was a great week. Thanks very much.

If Parksville is your destination make sure you book this home. Located in the Tanglewood development you will enjoy the famous Rathtrevor Beach and Provincial Park next door. This home is steps from the beach and has a great ocean view. Book early or you will miss out!

Blissful winter vacation

Our month long December stay was incredibly restful. Quiet, even through the busier Xmas week. The bedroom was dark and quiet, so peaceful. Rathtrevor was delightful, despite the cold and nearly two weeks of snow. A huge appreciation to one of the neighbours who shoveled and put snow melt out at least daily!! Loved the gas fireplace and spa-like bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Awesome stay

We had an amazing stay. The unit is terrific. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed walking the trails through the Provincial Park next door, and walking for hours out on the beach during low tide. Waking up every morning and watching the sun rise while lying in bed is something we will never forget.

Perfect location

Stayed at this lovely spot for 4 nights. Everything about this townhouse was perfect. Spacious, clean, well stocked, nice size deck with an amazing view and nattural gas bbq. Already Want To Go Back!

We had an amazing time staying here! One: because the property is fantastic and Two: the hosts are wonderful. My husband and I were in town for 2.5 months while we oversaw the care of an injured elderly relative. We needed a space that could be our home base; somewhere where we could relax and feel comfortable but would also allow us to work from home when needed. The host Shelley was great at replying to any questions quickly and thoroughly, and made us feel welcome before we'd even arrived. We reached out to her a few times throughout the stay as well, and always received a prompt, helpful, and friendly response. Once we got to the condo it was exactly as described. We felt at home immediately. It is beautifully laid out and Shelley wasn't kidding when she said the kitchen has everything you need. My favourite part was being able to lie in bed while watching the sun rise over the ocean. Having Rathtrevor Provincial Park as a next door neighbour was pretty incredible too. You can literally touch the trees in the park from the balcony! The layout and high ceilings make everything feel open and communal without feeling like you're crawling on top of each other. Every day we were able, we made sure to walk along the beach or take one of the paths in the woods. One of our original concerns was space for computers, since we both were working while visiting, but they have Wifi as well as ample table and desk space to work on! Honestly, I don't think we could've asked for a better place to stay and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beauty and the Beach

I would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about this wonderful property! This was our first trip to Parksville, and I certainly hope it won’t be the last, as I hope to return to this beautiful condo! The views and location are unbeatable, and the home itself is amazingly well equipped and unbelievably comfortable. I felt at home the minute we walked in the door! Shelly was wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful. There is a welcoming pickleball community here, which we loved, and to be a minute away from the beach is priceless. Fingers crossed we shall return!!

Fantastic Spot

Great property with a spectacular view watching the sun come up in the morning and the moon at night. No shortage of things to do as well. Long walks on the beach where the tide goes out forever, pickleball and the boardwalk in town. We especially enjoyed the cycling in the nearby area. We’ll be back.

We purchased the Tanglewood unit when it was built in 2007 as a family getaway for ourselves and the next generation of family. We love coming here both in winter and in the summer. Our children love the easy access to the beach and we spend hours enjoying the outdoor activities that Parksville has to offer. The perfect peaceful getaway.
