We were a party of ten - myself, my wife, our two children and their partners plus 4 grandchildren aged 8-21. The property was large with air conditioning throughout and an excellent pool. We had a superb stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, there were a few issues which would have improved it further. On arrival I telephoned the numbers to advise we had arrived but got no answer. I had been given three numbers to call and eventually someone answered on the second number (her name was Anna was but not listed). She gave me an alternative number for Davide. - the main contact. I rang it, but again no answer so I rang her back and she got Davide to call me. He then turned up at the villa about 15 minutes later. By now we had been waiting at least half an hour in the heat of the day.Although we spent a good deal of time in the pool, we could not spend a great deal of time sunbathing, reading, eating and drinking outside as we were constantly bothered with wasps. I was stung quite badly by a wasp on the second day.In addition, the house could do with some updating. A number of the door handles fell off. We also had blocked drains which meant the shower in one room could not be used. We telephoned Happy Rentals and someone did come that afternoon to sort out the drains. Clearly, this was not a new issue as the shower affected had a plunger in the bathroom.
