We loved this charming, beautiful chalet. The views are great, the spaces are well set up and comfortable. We loved the picnic table on the patio for lunch and the sun porch for breakfast. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well-stocked with pans and utensils. The painted woodwork was delightful. The location just outside of Grindelwald was perfect for hiking and other adventures. Cascia, our host, was friendly and responsive. We would return!
Incredible. Incredibly expensive and hard to get to, but worth every penny. It was amazing. Spent more on this one stay for 3 nights than the 3 nights in London and 2 nights in Paris and 2 nights in Venice COMBINED. Way more expensive but that's Switzerland, and, the Chalet is just super. So great. Loved it.
No one in my family wanted to leave this house when our vacation was over. This fascinating, beautifully appointed old home was filled with charm, comfort & interest. From the lovely outdoor patio to the clawfoot bathtub, we completely enjoyed every aspect. The entrance from the narrow cobblestone alleyway added to its charm. Parking was a convenient short distance and a small grocer with essentials was around the corner. I wish I could stay there all summer.
