The immediate area is very relaxed, quiet, and feels more local than Playa Blanca and surrounding areas. The nearest restaurants are a few hundred yards, as are some bars and shops. You wouldn't need to leave this area if you didn't want to. But if you do, there's a LOT of bars, restaurants, and other activities within a very nice seafront 30 minute walk or 2 minutes bus. The hosts were very good and communicated well. The property is lovely, especially the outdoor areas.
